We happened to come across this place - stuck away in the woods, right on the edge of Lake Werbellin. Pleasant atmosphere, pleasant and attentive service - and really good Italian food food! From the nice outside terrace one has a wonderful view of the lake.For those who want to combine the visit with a swim - there is a great place for swimming in the lake right downside of the restaurant.

If you are looking for a clean and affordable place to bed your head for a couple of nights, look no further than the Wilder Eber, Wild Boar. The hotel is a two story building with a beautiful wooden siding. Each of the 8 guest rooms has a small balcony. The basic room furnishings are functional and inviting. Although the hotel is located on the main road, it is set back far enough from it to be quiet. A bakery, the movie theater, and a Greek restaurant are in close walking distance and so is the trolley bus station. Eberswalde main station is a 10 minute walk or a 1 stop bus ride.

Bei betreten des Restaurants wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, gut. Gemütlich bürgerliches Ambiente. Die Speisekarte ist überladen sowie dominiert durch gehaltvolle, deftige Gerichte und weiÃt aus meiner Sicht keine klare Linie auf. Der Zander, war prinzipiell nett gemeint und auch nicht schlecht aber da ist definitiv noch eine Menge Luft nach oben. Wenn ich Fisch mehliert serviere sollte ich dies ggf. in der Karte so aufführen oder dem Gast die Wahl lassen, bei der Bestellung zu entscheiden. Frisch war das Fett, in dem der Fisch gebraten wurde, auch nicht mehr. Der Spargel wurde in "Rahmsauce" ertränkt. Das mit den Saucen, welche optisch alle die gleiche Grundlage zu haben scheinen, ist offenbar die einzig klare Linie der alten Brauerei. Man kann Gemüse und Speisen allgemein auch schmackhaft zubereiten und servieren ohne diese in Fett zu ertränken. Netter Platz mit Luft nach oben.

Zum wiederholten Mal wurde man hier nicht enttäuscht: gute Auswahl von frischem Räucherfisch oder warmen Fischgerichten zu einem angemessenem Preis bei teilweiser Selbstbedienung. Einfach und rustikal-genau richtig für einen kurzen Stopp.

We had a dinner there a couple of days ago. We took roasted wild pork and a salad. Everything was so delicious and fresh, also wine and beer were very good. We suggest it!

You really are sitting out on the Werbellin lake at this restaurant, and great smoked fish to either eat there or take home.

Sehr gutes Restaurant neben der Marina, mit kleiner Karte, Tolem Empfehlungen auch zu Allergenen. Leckere Fisch- und Fleischgerichte. Gutes Preis-/Leistungverhältnis.Die Lage ist allerdings so, das hier kaum Laufkundschaft stoppt, hier kommt man gezielt, auf Empfehlung oder ist Stammgast.Schade die Anfahrt von meinem Wohnort 140km ist, also Stammgast kann ich kaum werden.

Just a one night stop off at this amazing hotel, my husband has stayed before and really enjoyed it. We had the Winkel suite which overlooks the lake, amazing view. The suite was huge, very clean and modern with a touch of old style fixtures. So quiet and tranquil, no noise at all. We had a fantastic breakfast, smoked salmon, fresh cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, bread, coffee and juices. I personally would have liked to have something sweet for breakfast but all the same I really enjoyed. The staff are lovely, friendly and discreet. We woke up at 6 .30 to a beautiful sunrise and then it started snowing and the view was even better. We will be staying again.
