Staying with friends who live in Woltersdorf and wanted to treat them to a lovely meal. This place did not disappoint. Fabulous food sourced locally. My wifes fish was succulent and my wild boar rich and satisfying. The white wine from a small local vineyard so good we didn't hesitate to have a second. Schnapps and Grappa to finish with no room for dessert sadly. Worth the short trip out from Berlin.

We were there second time. Nice restaurant in quiet place with a back garden at the summer. Good food, resonable prices, nice and friendly staff. We 've got a water for a dog without asking. Option for vegetarians as well. Sesonal food. In the back small animal garden, nice for kids but I hope that are not keeping them over there for dinner..

I just visited here for the third time and not disappointed. It was Sunday so fairly quiet but I ordered the Pork Knuckle with sauerkraut potatoes and horse radish and man it was good. Huge portion with delicious flavours from each ingredient complimenting one another. â¬13.80 and I couldnât finish it. 2 beers to help it go down at â¬4.10 each.friendly English speaking staff as well. Fantastic value in an atmospheric setting, varied menu with a great selection of drinks. Not easy to find but worth searching out, itâs great!

Situated just over the river Spree from Friedrichshagen S-bahn, this quaint bar/restaurant sits on a square floating pontoon about 50 meters from the shore and looking like a cross between a Swiss chalet and an American wild west log cabin. To reach it from the town you can if you wish, walk under the river, through a pedestrian tunnel, along the river bank and onto a jetty where you press a button to attract the attention of the proprietor. He then sends an equally square outboard driven 'thingy' which is equipped with saggy rope rails for your safety and a couple of loose deck chairs and tables for your comfort. Alternatively you can stand. The bar itself is quaint with shed loads of atmosphere. English is spoken, so communication is not a problem. We only had time for a drink, so I cannot comment on the food. I do understand however, that it is pretty good and I must say that on my next trip to Berlin, I am very tempted to make the effort to go back and sample the cuisine. Fish is their speciality.

Great German Restaurant, very friendly staff, nice indoor outdoor seating area located in the Romantic town of Schöneiche on the border of Berlin and Brandenburg. A very clean restaurant.Accessible via S3 to Friedrichagen then change over to Tram Nr. 88 to Schöneiche Goethe Park. 280 meters walk down Kadtanienstrasse to Friedrichagenstr. 23 the Restaurants address. it is well worth the adventure off the grid and in the summer one can enjoy Goethe Park.

Visited this small restaurant in March during what would be the off season. The staff are very attentive and the food, traditional German fare, is extremely good. Given the small intimate dining room I can imagine that this would be a very romantic venue for dinner during the summer months when it will be possible to then take an after dinner walk around the lake. The menu is designed for German speakers rather than English tourists but the waitstaff will be able to aid in navigating the menus. Provides for an excellent night out with modest pricing..

Buono buono e buono
