This is really a traditional German kitchen how you would like it to be. Everything is simple but fresh and not cooked in the frying pan, but in real butter. There is a part where the bar is, this is quite cosy German. Than there is a big restaurant, where the atmosphere is not that cosy, but when it is full than it's also quite nice. Still the food is the same and we can really recommend this place, if you want very good food for very affordable prices!!! We like to go there.

A Great restaurant with exceptional food in a typical Gasthaus style Staff are welcoming and helpful. I have a lactose allergy and basic German and they helped me through the menu to choose a great meal.Can thoroughly recommend the house red wine.Will happily eat here again

Stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed. A small restaurant with efficient service from the friendly owner. Although I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak it came out medium rare and was a good quality cut.

Eaten here few times when I've been in the area on business. Absolutely superb. A cross between Italian and Greek food. The presentation, flavour and quality of the food is outrageously good.Highly recommended.

Die Tor âDeeleâ ist ein Restaurant/Kneipe mit ganz besonderen Charme und einem tollen Ambiente im Fachwerkhaus. Für mich immer ein ganz besonderes Highlight sind die Steaks vom heiÃen Stein, mein Favorit 3oo Gramm Rumsteak (mit wahlweise Speckböhnchen oder einen Marktsalat, Kräuterbutter und Baguette, mit im Preis), Kroketten, geschmorte Zwiebeln und geschmorte Champignons separat und super lecker. Kann ich absolut empfehlen das Steak vom heiÃen Stein ist immer ein besonderes Event und kulinarischer Hammer! Nettes Ambiente, guter Service und tolle Qualität der Gerichte. Ich tue es immer wieder und das sehr, sehr gern!

Wir haben hier aus der reichhaltigen Schnitzelkarte und ein Rumpsteak gewählt. Das Essen war reichhaltig, sehr heià und schmackhaft. Für meinen Geschmack eine richtig gute "Dorfwirtschaft", in der auch zahlreich Einheimische zu Gast waren, was aus meiner Sicht ein gutes Zeichen ist.

I had a family dinner there and we were very surprised how calm and comfortable it was during the week between christmas and new year. Food was not excellent and lacking spices. For meat fans I recommend the schlosskrug pfanne. Fish is not recommendable. The vegetarian food was missing spices as well but still good that they propose 2 or more veggie dishes.

Ate here twice with friends during the Christmas period.Busy restaurant but staff very friendly and attentive. Menu has a very good selection of different meals especially game (probably on account of it being in season). Portions are huge (local feature, we were told!)Restaurant had a nice familiar feel to it and I would say restaurant offers good value for money!

Wonderfully casual and friendly bistro with beer garden (covered when it rains).Good and varied menu including traditional German but also some international dishes, such as Italian pasta, beef burgers etc. Beer options are good and the starter dips with bread were fresh and delicious.Food was served fairly quickly and proved excellent and tasty.Best of all, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff extremely friendly and courteous. The place was busy and included many young people and even the owner was serving tables that evening.Will definitely visit again when in the area.
