This place is always more or less fully-booked, when it is open, but even if full, you always manage to get a seat if you are patient. The food is local and in big portions and the wine they serve is from their own vineyards and known for its good quality. Because of so many people visiting the place the waiters may appear fairly stressed. But as Besenwirtschaft is something really German, I would recommend a visit there.

The Lowen is in Reilingen and serves excellent German food. Went there with a couple of colleagues and had a great time enjoying the great food, wine and personal service from the owner.The interior of the establishment is done up like a museum which compliment the excellent ambiance of the whole dining experience We ordered their seasonal special, Pumpkin Soup and Fillet Steak with Wild Mushrooms.The Pumpkin Soup was the best I have ever tasted and the Steak cooked to perfection.One word of caution, they do not accept American Express but do accept Visa..Definitely a restaurant that I will return when I am next back in the area.Their web site can be found at http://www.loewen-reilingen.de/

We arrived just after 1pm on a Sunday for a relaxed bite to eat with 4 children and 3 adults. The sun was shining so we sat outdoors. Service was friendly - the flammkuecken (think very thin pizza base smeared with fresh soft cheese and backed with bacon and onion) excellent and the alcohol free Weizenbeer just the thing for a long leisurely lunch.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant zu viert. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufgeschlossen und sprach Empfehlungen zur Speisekarte aus. Alle Speisen die wir bestellten, incl. des Salats, waren hervorragend. Der gemischte Salat war ausnahmslos frisch und sehr schmackhaft angemacht. Das Fleisch sehr zart und auf den Punkt gebraten. Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Die Preise insgesamt gerechtfertigt. Kurzum: Sehr zu empfehlen,wir werden wiederkommen.

Wir waren heute zum Essen beim TSV Rot. Ich muss sagen die Portionen waren sehr groà und vor allem richtig lecker und das zu einem richtig guten Preis. Der Service war immer aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen für die Kinder ging sehr schnell und war alles frisch zubereitet (keine TK Ware)Absolut empfehlenswert wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

This place is tucked away in the town of Walldorf, but has a gourmet and fancy presentation of food! Unique dishes, all probably worth a try. I donât eat meat, and there were still plenty of options for me. In-season fruits and veggies, fresh usage of cheeses, interesting flavor combos (homemade curry butter!), and a surprise starter from the chef - a layered savory gelatin appetizer, in colors of the Germany flag - I think maybe he was bored and decided to get creative. ;). If youâre feeling adventurous, give this restaurant a try - itâs not the same-old-same-old. Especially if the weather is nice enough to sit on the outdoor patio - quiet and quaint.

We were given this refered by the proprietors of Hotel Ardor and the meal was as good as the recommendation. We ate in the beer garden at the back of the restaurant on a lovely German Summers evening, the beer, wine and food was excellent with a great atmosphere. Service was also great in that we wern't hassled every few minutes but let to do our own thing which is what I like but the proprietor Julia was close at hand when needed - and we were made to feel at home. Meal was Excellent and they even offer on the house Ouzu !

Nice restaurant with a good menu. The service is ordinary. We loved the bread selection served before the meal. Unike most other restaurants, their bread seemed fresh and warm. The dining room is a sea of chairs and tables which makes it look a tad dull and unattractive. But I guess the taste and quality of the food makes up for that!
