We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The staff is 100% spot on! Fast, efficient and very forthcoming. The food quality for dinner was super. Well prepared and good portions. Just for breakfast it was a bit too "simple". I like to measure the quality of a breakfast buffet on the style of eggs available and when I see that the scrambled eggs are made of a ready mix-powder than this is automatically a minus. Hello Sascha, thank you very much for your rating about which we were very happy. At one point I must argue with you. We do not use egg powder. To avoid the danger of salmonella we use pasteurized eggs. Thank you for your understanding

Ehrlich gesagt wären wir vorbeigefahren, wenn nicht ganz viele Autos vor dem Restaurant gestände hätten. Also hinein, wir hätten Hunger.

A small restaurant in Braunlage with a small menu. The variety is good and the food very fresh and delicious. I recommend a table reservation on weekends and during school holidays.

Good coffee. Some staff was friendly; others more "east-german". Be carefull when hiking to this restaurant. Even though the road is supposed to be only for deliveries to the restaurant all the locals use it. Motorists - especially delivery vans - do speed and lack consideration for hikers.

This hiking restaurant features unbeatable surroundings in a river valley, superb views in every season. The traditional German food is served hot and delicious by friendly costumed staff. English is spoken "a little." The potato salad is an awesome treat. Ask to have that instead of any other side dish. The Wiesenfeuer liqueur is amazing. Hours are limited. They are always busy.

We went as a family with two kids. Everything about this place is nice. The food is excellent - good quality, very well done and nicely served. The staff is smiling and helpfull, and even thought we had several orders (one of our kids didnât wanted to order anything at first), we felt welcome and they did everything to make us feel comfortable. The interior is nice, and they have a real fireplace that gives the restaurant a calm atmosphere. Will definetely come again.

During our stay in st Andreasberg we ate at Fischer twice. The Ukrainian soup i can especially recomand. The schnitzel plates are good and large, the hexenmix (or something similar, a spicy mix of meat and maize in a sauce with patatoes) is also very, very good. The athmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly and the prices tiny. But then this goes for all of Andreasberg.

Food was lovely, prices are bit higher but the setup is great, and looks like a great place to stay in. Staff was not too friendly and not really interested in providing good customer service. They serve food only inside and not on the terrace. Dog friendly.
