Great meal, tasty schnitzel, big portions :) very good maracuja crepes with ice cream. and the best beer. We can only recommend this place.

Stopped in here for lunch because we were looking for the Arcobräu Schloss Dunkel and it was a holiday weekend when we weren't sure what would be open. We received a friendly welcome, a beer and the menu, which was surprisingly hard to choose from. Decided on the Rindsbacken mit Senf-Meerrettichkruste and the fish platter with three kinds of fish, potatoes and asparagus. Both were served in a timely manner with a smile and delicious.

Situated in the old ice cellar of an ancient monastery, this is a charming restaurant serving first rate food and beers. The staff were extraordinarily pleasant and helpful - the warmest reception we have had yet, and the Bavarian food was simple but excellent. Well worth the stop.

very dedicated cook... very good special food, menues and a la carde. prices are high but worth it. Situated quite "in the woods".... but you won´t regret the voyage. The cook also knows how to decorate the food, so the eyes get also something to see.

Das ehrwürdige Gasthaus wurde vor ein paar Jahren wieder zum Leben erweckt und es ist grundsätzlich schön, dass es in Winzer wieder ein Gasthaus mit Saal gibt.Anfänglich war der Service und auch die Portionen gut - leider hat Beides nachgelassen, Preise meines Erachtens für die ländliche Gegend auf GroÃstadtniveau und relativ kleine Portionen, was mich schon immer störte: Es gibt keinen Beilagen-Salat, sondern nur etwas "Deko-Salat" auf dem Teller des Hauptgerichts. Muss also extra bestellt und bezahlt werden.Die Einrichtung auf den ersten Blick schön und stylish, andererseits aber eher unbequem und nicht so gemütlich, da hätte man schon etwas Rustikaleres machen können.

The restaurant has wonderful location with view to river Danube where it makes a turn. I wouldn't come just for the food, but it is a perfect place to stop if you are somewhere near by. To sit in the shade of big trees and have a bier and to grab something to eat. Our schnitzels were perfect with tasty breading. Just had to order a side salad to get something green with the portion. Friendly service.

Had a really nice meal here.Friendly welcome from the English speaking chef/manager. Our waitress didn't speak a lot of English, but that didn't matter as she helped us select from the menu, which appeared to be Bavarian with a Mediterranean twist, which we liked a lot.Definitely recommended.
