Towards old church on the left side through short passage lies this quiet restaurant. The waitress is friendly, smiling, communicative and you will not wait long for her. The food choice is for every taste. So the food is surprisingly is perfectly seasoned Which is rare in German cuisine. The dish combinations are spot on. Waiting time from order to dish arrival is acceptable. The drink offer is very colorful. The prices are in medium range 11⬠to 29â¬. Worth of come back.. I will for sure...

Von der FuÃgängerstraÃe Blick in eine Seitengasse ( Name: Stätte) , heller Lichtschein. Durch ein groÃes Fenster Blick in das Restaurant. Gäste ja, aber nicht überfüllt. GroÃzügig angeordnet, aber auch mit kleinen Sitznischen versehen. Leise Musik â eine ruhige Atmosphäre. Eine Treppe führt in die obere Etage. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber.Unsere Gerichte waren geschmacklich gut. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung.Gut gemachte Internetseite mit Vorstellung des Teams und auch der Speisekarte.Hat uns gut gefallen!

So, you are in Muhlhausen(Thuringia) and you are hungry foodie, I found the place for you. In the heart of Muhlhausen right in front of St. Mary's Church (Marienkirche). It is a Gothic church built in 14th century and right across the street sat small, but neat Greek restaurant. So after short peek through the window it was not promising since it was nearly empty. So one deep breath and step in. The restaurant is clean with some Greek style drawings on the wall. Lights slightly dimmed and in the background plays the Greek music with newer date singers. So far so good. The waiter is friendly offering us the drink and brought us a menu. The menu is well organized and described well. But only setback is no English, so as many other things in this part of Germany, the English language is not so often. However, I ordered three courses, soup, Salad for entree and main course. The soup is the Greek style clear chicken soup with lots of cooked and fresh vegetables along with rice shape noodles. One word Delicious, really refreshing. The entree salad comes in and first impression is the size. It can be a meal alone. Big colorful tasty salad with Syrtaki dressing which is interesting in taste. And than comes steak baked in ceramic bowl with cheese baked on top. The presentation gave me impression and I jumped in to conclusion. So it looks as lasagna style. But I was wrong it is creamy tender thick steak in sauce with lot of other meat chunks in it. Along with vegetables and mushrooms. It is a rhapsody of taste. Again as the entree, this was big portion too. So for the end i gave up on desert because I was really full. For end as usual in most of the Greek restaurants, one Ouzo shot. So what to say for 26.80â¬, three course meal, big portions and it noted as place to go when you are really hungry. Pity that I will leave tomorrow Muhlhausen, but If I return in future, I will revisit it for more other food in this restaurant.Thank you for your laudatory report. Wir waren Gäste auf einer Hochzeit. Der Gasthof liegt so idyllisch, man könnte echt was draus machen... Leider wurde dieser Eindruck auf zwischenmenschlicher Ebene vollkommen ruiniert. Das Personal war teilweise wirklich schnippisch bei berechtigten Fragen, verwies Leute von der Bar an die Tische, dort wurden aber Ewigkeiten keine Bestellungen aufgenommen. Benutze man bestimmte Wege (welche nicht speziell gekennzeichnet waren), wurde man sofort zurechtgewiesen.Das Essen war ok, es war nur etwas lauwarm.Am schlimmsten war jedoch der Besitzer. So etwas unfreundliches und unflexibles ist mir bis jetzt noch nicht untergekommen. Alle Geschehnisse aufzuzählen würde den Rahmen sprengen, so hat man sich im Gastgewerbe gegenüber Gästen und auch Personal (welches teilweise angeschrien wurde) einfach nicht zu verhalten. Daher gibt es von uns leider keine Empfehlung für den Peterhof.

.. und das ist hier auch gut so. Liebevoller nostalgischer Gastraum, regionales Bier und gutbürgerliche Küche. Toiletten erst nach "Treppenaufstieg" zu erreichen. Das Verweilen macht Spass.

In der urigen Atmosphäre des Mühlhäuser Brauhauses lieÃen wir uns die wirklich gute Thüringer Küche schmecken. Der Service war super freundlich, immer aufmerksam und ging auch auf die Kinder ein. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut, deftig. Ich hatte als Vorspeise ein gut gewürztes Würzfleisch und zum Hauptgang das mit Zwiebel-Senf-Kruste überbackene Brauhaussteak mit perfekten Bratkartoffeln und einem leckeren Salat vom reichhaltigen Salatbuffet. Als Nachtisch gönnte ich mir Rote Grütze. Alles hat mich sehr überzeugt und hebt sich sehr von der in vielen anderen Brauhäusern vorzufindenden Convenienceküche positiv ab. Dazu das leckere selbstgebraute Bier, lecker. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war es allerdings immer sehr voll, so dass sich eine Reservierung unbedingt empfiehlt.

Das Cheers liegt sehr schön in der FuÃgängerzone von Mühlhausen - AuÃengastronomie ist such vorhanden und wird bei schönem Wetter auch gerne genutzt. Das Essen ist solide, nichts Aufsehenerregendes, aber gut gemacht - so dass man hier problemlos zum Essen reingehen kann. Service ist aufmerksam und schnell.

Anlässlich einer Trauerfeier waren wir zum Essen in diesem Gasthaus gegenüber des Mühlhäuser Friedhofs.Die Bedienung dort war flott und nett gegenüber unserer 40köpfigen Trauerschar.Die Speisen waren für dieses Ereignis angemessen ausgesucht, es gab belegte Brötchen sowie Kuchen und Kaffee.Ein Blick in die Speisekarte verriet die Thüringer Küche in vielen verschiedenen Varianten.Ein weiterer Grund diese Lokalität zu einem anderen, nicht so traurigen Ereignis auf jeden Fall noch einmal aufzusuchen!

"Do one thing and do it well" seems to be the guiding principle of the wonderful Raabe restaurant. Of course, they don't really do just one thing. But the idea is there. The menu is astonishingly small: three choices for mains, lamb, veal or rabbit. And rabbit was off on the night we went, so there was a choice of just two. No beef, no poultry, no fish.But, as the saying goes, no worries. The lamb came as two thick slices of loin, pink in the middle, with a salt and herb crust, beautifully arranged on a bed of cauliflower. The veal was poached and served in a consomme made from dried bonito flakes. It sounds odd, but the flavours complemented each other perfectly. Each of these dishes was about as good as lamb or veal gets.The dessert selection was also small: a single scoop of rhubarb sorbet in sparkling elderberry wine; a platter of Belgian cheeses; and a mojito--the cocktail deconstructed and recreated as a sweet. All excellent.Service was quick, cordial and attentive without being intrusive. The table setting was high quality. And at just under 100 euros per couple (including wine but without entrees), it was good value for money. This was fine dining at its finest. What a surprise to find it in a small town in Germany.

We originally tried to get into Tripadvisor's #1 rated restaurant, but they were booked. The owner suggested Antonius Muhle, and are we glad he did. Situated in a 700 year old mill, the ambiance is remarkable. Our server, recognizing us as Americans, brought us an English menu with a smile, and continued to offer help as we chose our food. We both had schnitzels, and they were very, very good. We had a great night just admiring the history of the place, as well as enjoying good food and the smiles of our server. Highly, highly recommended!
