When we arrived actually fairly early in the evening, except for 4 reserved tables it was totally full... seemed to be a good sign.. thankfully we HAD reserved.There was very fast and friendly attention and soon had our drinks and the fairly extensive menu to peruse.Well the food certainly didn't disappoint .. my wife had a very varied goats cheese salad and I had the best shoulder of lamb I have EVER eaten. TASTY .. and just fell apart. We've come to this area of Spain very often and it's a shame it's taken so long to find this gem of a restaurant. It is worth noting that it's a German family run restaurant so don't expect Spanish cuisine .. but DO expect German size portions and it is not expensive at all.Definitely a place I recommend visiting .. but RESERVE.

Ate 3 times in Can Claus in the last two weeks Beef Stew and homemade noodles are amazing, owner very welcoming. Will be back in a few weeks time when we return to El PerelloThank you so much for taking your time and telling your experience here in Can Claus. We do hope to see you soon again here when you get back to that beautiful village El Perello, so famous for its excellent honey. Not the finest restaurant you will come across but it is great for lunch on the beach - try the lamb, the risotto, the goats cheese salad and the Greek wrap/crepe. Large portions and all served with a smile. We make a point of calling every year and never disappointed - even if only for a 'few' mid-afternoon drinks with feet trailing in the sand!
