... und dabei gut griechisch Essen kam man in der Taverne Amphora in Maintal bei Frankfurt.Lage & Location:Bei der Anfahrt würde man nicht vermuten dass sich zwischen den vorstädtischen Wohnhäusern ein derart nettes griechisches Restaurant befindet. Parkplätze gibt es in der StraÃe oder im Hof. Sofort fällt der Jahrzehnte alte Weinreben-Baldachin auf unter dem man drauÃen sitzen kann ... und da man sich spätestens durch die Griechenland-Fähnchen und die Weinreben nebst Weintrauben in Urlaubsstimmung versetzt fühlt, vergisst man schnell dass man gar nicht in Griechenland ist.Die authentische Freundlichkeit -ich wurde von Vater und Sohn bedient - war vorbildlich und hat das positive Bild komplettiert. Danke.Einziges winziges Manko: Keine Kreditkartentahlung möglich - aber wenn ich das weià kann ich mich ja darauf einstellen.

I dropped by this restaurant for a business dinner not knowing quite what to expect. It turned out to be an excellent meal. It is an authentic local restaurant with lots of local charm. I will go back.

...passt sehr authentisch zu Torturm, Brunnen und Wehrmauern (immer zum 2. Advent mit romantischem Weihnachtsmarkt nebst Apfelpfannkuchen und Glühwein in zahlreichen Hofreiten). Im inzwischen traditionellen "Neuen Bau" kocht Thierry Zuchner mit frischen regionalen Produkten so gut, dass sonntagmittags reserviert werden sollte. Wir kehrten diesmal zum Mittagstisch unter der Woche ein und wurden mit einer formidable reichlichen Schlachtplatte mit arttypischem Sauerkraut plus Nachtisch bedient für nur 8,30 â¬(!) -- und zu baldiger Wiederkehr gelockt. Die Entenbrust an pfiffigem Himbeeressig-Jus, Frischgemüse und Rösti zu 21,50 entsprach schon einem Sonntagsmahl aus höheren Geschmacksklassen. Selbstverständlich gibt's hier auch örtlich-traditionellen Apfelwein.

Dinner here for 15 after a family wedding nearby. Authentic German food and beer, restaurant provides a feel of German culture. Dark beer was a big favourite of our group.

restaurant and coffeehouse in an old mill nearby the river "Nidda". Cross-over food, international breakfast, lunch, fresh cakes and italian coffee specialities. Beautiful summer terrace. Theater and cinema are located in the same house.

We had to sit outside as the inside was booked for a private party but it was a warm evening so it was pleasant enough. Had a very pleasant meal - the steak was delicious - and the food that my colleagues chose looked good too.

Nice venue in an old wagon wheel-making building. Pleasant decor and good service. We were a group and so had an assortment of traditional schnitzels, salads, veal dishes, fleisch salad and fried potatoes with green sauce. All good and good value for the quality.

I really enjoyed my experience recently at this Cafe. The opportunity to sit outdoors was great as well. The food was served very quickly and the service was fast. I could see it was a popular place as well in Maintal.

Great food, atmosphere and staff is suburb! A must visit! Staff stayed open late for us, no other areas restaurant would serve at 9:30 pm. Excellent
