Gave this place a great review last time we came and to be honest it's difficult to fault the food but going out for dinner is more than simply eating. It's about the welcome the experience the service the atmosphere and to be honest all of these were lacking. We arrived at 8pm ordered by 8.10pm and had our meal delivered to us less than 5 minutes later - weird! Service was very brusque and it felt more like school dinners than a restaurant. However the ribs pork and beef were lovely and the only comment was they could have been hotter. Having eaten by 8.45pm it then took nearly 30 minutes to get the bill which seemed ironic given the initial speed of service. Disappointing experience and wouldn't rush back again.

The standard of mountain cafes in this are is generally very good and this is no exception. Yoy can walk up from Klamm either via a road - which is better in icy weather - or a much steeper direct track, which we took. Either way it's a very pleasurable and is rewarded with some fabulous views acrosst the valley to the south and to Hohe Munde. We only had coffee and kuchen, the latter freshly baked and beaultiful. We saw some delicious looking mountain food being served to other tables. Well worth the trip. The walk is rated at 2 hours or so but if your'e a good walker you can do it in about half that. It's also possible to drive most of the way but that's worth checking beforehand.

We stopped here last year also on a cross country trek but this time sat inside and it's wonderful. It's really exactly how you would wish with cosy atmosphere, shared tables, old photos, warm and friendly with a selection of local fare to fill you up while your skiing, the staff were charming and helpful and the food perfect, thanks I could have stayed there all week,

We recently stayed at the Hotel Larchenhof, and this restaurant was on the property walking distance up the hill... Its like dining in a rustic Austrian farmhouse with delicious food, and a warm atmosphere.. The staff are attentive and gracious.. The pork schnitzel, and the young venison were so good and satisfying.. Mouth watering... Paired with a glass of Austrian red wine, and you will be insured of a cozy dining experience

We are closed for Holiday from November 3rd to December 5th. There are three areas in our restaurant. The interior of the restaurant, the winter garden and the terrace. For an aperitif before dinner or a digestif after our bar is the perfect place for it.
Very good place for lunch if you are in a hotel on half board. Good interesting menu, but you can also choose something small. Great serviceThank you very much, hope to see you soon for lunch.

We had a had not read any reviews prior to lunching here and were really pleasantly surprised by the warmth of our welcome and the standard of the admittedly simple fare that we wanted after our walk down the valley. The restaurant was full perhaps also because it was a beautiful day !It's a great walk and a definite must do when staying in Leutasch.

We went here twice in January with friends. We made reservations as it was very popular. The food was superb and the Knodels are divine. The kaiserschmarm was also good. The service wasn't perfect but the place was packed. It didn't spoil the meal. Beer was good.We hired 2 sledges or rodels as the Austrians call them. The 3 km sledge route is brilliant and you just leave them at the bottom when you're finished. The weather was beautiful although the lack of good snow meant the road was a bit icy. Fab family day out.

Arrive in style with a horse carriage. About 30-45 min. away (by hourse) from downtown Seefeld this place is a hidden gem. Traditional Tyrolean food very well interpreted- even at their last day before going into spring break (end of winter season). We will definitely come back during summer. Congratulations.

While staying in the Hotel Zugspitze we are here several times. The traditional breakfast was consistently good. Dinner menu somewhat limited although is was off-season. Staff very efficient and by German standards friendly. With so many great places to eat within 5-10 minutes walking distance we would not go out of our way to eat here. But the bar in the hotel is great, with live music and lots of locals in attendance on Thursday nights. Christine in the bar is great--friendly and helpful. We would go out of our way to have a drink here
