Christophe and his team will give you a warm Tyrolean welcome. Great food, great drink, great service, great athmosphere.

Lots of locals there. They have an extensive menu from snacks to full German meals. We opted for Pizza of which there were many choices. Parking behind, Good place for family meal or inexpensive full dinner or snack.

It was a very disappointing experience to enter this establishment. The owner of the coffee shop saw us coming in with 2 strawlers and 3 children and the look on the owners eyes said enough. Nevertheless we followed our way in - we were hungry and because if the stormy snowy weather outside, we really needed to warm up. My oldest daughter of three held the door open for the second strawler, while I looked for a table. The only words the older lady behind the bar screamed in German was: "close the door". Being given the fact that I'm German, I explained in full German, that there was a second mom with baby on her way in, but apparently this lady had no understanding for the situation."The strawler has to go there in the corner!" Was the second sentence that this lady shouted out. I can understand that the strawler shouldn't block the way, but I did expect a "hi" and at least a friendly attitude.Instead of welcoming us and maybe asking what we would like to have, the lady from behind the bar first went to the table where people sat down who came in after us. She eventually made her way to our table. Again, instead of asking us what we would like to order, she aggressively took the beer cards and the desert menu that my youngest daughter (of 18 months) was playing with at the table only to tell me that my daughter shouldn't play with this. I said: "excuse me, but these are young children....", she interrupted me and arrogantly said: "I also had children once, you have to keep them under control".Well, that was about the last thing this lady had to say. I told her that it is incredible the way she treats her guests and that she should be ashamed about the way she treated us. We packed our baby's and strawlers and left back into the stormy weather. One thing is sure: we will never go back there, even though we regurlarly come to Lermoos. How they say it in German: "eine Unverschämtheit!".

Oh my god. Never seen this bad service before! Clearly they forgot who is paying their salary. Clearly the barmen and women are not happy with their jobs. Very unfriendly. Lack of a smile! Only go to this place if you like terrible service and very very long waiting times. Cheers!

A hut, nicely situated; I walked to it several times and ate well enough there. Typical stick-to-your-ribs alpine food. I'd be happy to see it on any hike, but it's really what one should expect from Tyrol. They don't do these things badly.

We stayed at the Post for 5 days with our son, to enjoy a winter holiday and to celebrate our 8 years anniversary as a couple. I have travelled extensively in Austria and have stayed in many 4 and 4s hotels, yet this one is truly one of the best. We could find no flaw. The room was beautiful, the room view breathtaking, the bathroom and amenities of 5 star quality, the pool that opens up to find yourself swimming by the snow an experience of its own. All three of us, including our 6-year old boy, could not have enough; a month has passed since we returned and my son keeps talking about the hotel and asks when we will return. The food was also of 5 star quality and so much that we really did not have the lunch offered, it was impossible to consume anything more between the magnificent breakfasts and dinners. One thing only that I would not agree on with others who have written a review, is the staff's overall personal approach to service. With the exception of the waiter that served us 3 out of our 5 days (l'm sorry that I cannot recall his name but he was exceptional) everyone was polite and helpful but kept a distinct distance. Perhaps it was just us, we were really tired and needed some space and perhaps it showed; nevertheless "personal" would not be the word I would use to describe service. To be absolutely fair, we generally do not enjoy a very "cosy" service so we didn't really mind the aforesaid, but I did want to point it out. Overall, the hotel's management - which is actively involved in everything, I noticed - deserves a lot of credit. We had an unforgettable vacation and we will certainly return.

In a recent stay in Ehrwald we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. It was a fine evening so we were able to sit outside. The service was excellent as was the fare. In short a memorable experience and we can only but endorse the recommendation.

The menu was reduced early at 1 pm and the upper floor was closed because it was "already prepared for the dinner guests". But: the Cheeseburger with Bacon was one of the best ever! ...and so huge...much more than a snack!
