Typical Bavarian restaurant in a great setting and ambiance. The menu offers the typical Bavarian food. Our waitress wasnât very friendly but that was compensated by the food. Large burger and a good mixed grill. Beer is from München and very good. The cappuccino was great. We will come again.

Just perfect!Reservation required! We had luck, after times of times of phone calls and no more room in the Stubn, we decided to show off late after 9.30pm. It was German national day.A very warm welcome, set up with a smile in a Stubn, our server was fast, very friendly and had this passionate familiar outgoing. We felt immediate like home. Here, I do need to say - this restaurant is gemütlichkeit. Lot of little wooden rooms, warm feeling also spreading out by all guests. The food - just the best Krustenbraten I ever had. Tender, full of natural flavor, crispy Kruste, and the perfect Bavarian Kartoffelknodel. We had sooo much luck, I got some Blaukraut. And here, is the step for me to heaven:all spices and consistence was perfect! The special Blaukraut is badly not on the main menus. Dear Zotzn, please take my wish as an adorable lover of German Blaukraut: yours is the best flavoured one I ever had, not even my mom or grandma (Saxon womans) are doing such a great job! And I grew up with natural good home cooking! Thanks for being there and serve people like you are doing! You're one of the best Kleinod's in Germany. :)

With its beautiful setting, excellent cooking and a location near hiking and cross- country skiing paths, the restaurant is a popular spot on weekends. A reservation is highly recommended and on holidays essential. The staff are as friendly as they are hardworking. The menu always has specialties and standards. This time I chose the terrine of white asparagus wrapped in smoked salmon. The delicate flavors were nicely balanced, and a creamy Bärlauch sauce on the side gave it a bit of a zip. For my main I ordered the Lammkotolettes, nicely on the rare side of medium-rare and accompanied by escalloped potatoes. I also tried a bit of my neighborâs Bärlauchsuppe, which was very tasty. They also featured Tegernseer Dunkles Bier and after dinner, their own Schnapserl. The atmosphere is very gemütlich and the room design is a beautiful classic Bavarian style. If you are planning a hike it's often difficult to know when you'll turn up. But many such parties who turned up without reservations were turned away, so be advised! You can always plan for extra hiking time and if you show up early, there's a Forellenzucht down the hill where you can easily kill an hour or so and have a beer or two as well.

We count ourselves very lucky that we happened to stop for lunch at this lovely "Wirtshaus". We were driving from Innsbruck to Munich Airport on the last day of our holiday, and decided to go the pretty way. It was a glorious day, so we sat at an outside table and enjoyed excellent char (Saibling) fillets with a very good salad, followed by a cup of coffee. In other circumstances we would have been very happy to have more, and I am very keen to revisit and try "Kaiserschmarr'n", or "Emperor's Mess", which is apparently a speciality. The service was good and friendly. I didn't try out the waitress (owner?) with English - it probably helps to have some German.By the way, "Glashuette" or "Glashütte" is the name of the village - the inn is the "Gasthof Glashütte".

we arrived at the restaurant during a snow storm, without having booked. it's a chic decor yet simple and the food was really good. The waitress helped us decipher the German menu and advised us for the local dessert, which was huge and very sataisfying.

Well, after a whole day trip through the mountains, we went to Batznhausl for dinner. The guests around were mixed, from single to family to celebration. Some had lots of fun, others were very quit. Bavarian wooden furniture, regular cozy for a Bavarian restaurant, old school (retro) bathrooms, all very clean. Our food was good, all home made. Good soup, perfect filet, yummy cake, flexible kitchen for changings, fresh ingrediants. The Staff was fast, but not very pleased (been friendly, but without passion and heart). The serving is not familiar, it's more like 'they do need to do their job', been in business for years and got already the tunnel view for their guests.I won't get personal, so my review is going to be positive for fast service, good food and impassionate staff. All in one OK for dinner.

parking at the route from Rottag-Egern to Achensee at the Siebenhutten parking (euro 3,00 for a whole day). And taking the hiking trail to Siebenhutten (past the trout breeding grounds to Siebenhutten will take you 45 min and is easy to do also for smaller kids. Having a drink and home made cake at the Siebenhutten lodge. Very friendly and cheap. Take the other route back to the parking alomng the banks of the river which is fun for the kids!!!the whole route will take about 1,5 to 2 H on a kids pace with minimal elevation. The owner speaks german with a bavarian accent but we as dutch people comming to this region for some years now, it is good to understand.

very characteristic, small log house nearby fish farming where to have smoked trouts or char (forelle or saibling), wine or beer, and some home made cakes. Very limited choice of food, but excellent. Can also stay sitted outside in summer. Really worth the visit. Very kind personnel

The inn is located at the spa freely alongside the public Warmbad and offers good home cooking grill and game specialties, daily. Many fish dishes and homemade cakes. The house has a nice cafe garden with mountain views, a wheelchair ramp to the restauran
Had a family dinner there this week after having received a recommendation. The menu was excellent, many dishes for different tastes, be it meat, fish and vegetarian. Prices absolutely ok for the area and service was good. Kids-friendly place.
