I just wanted a quick lunch and I saw the soup of the day on the table of other guests: it looked like a fantastich tomatoe-cream soup. It was the vegetable soup of the day, and it was the best soup I've had in a restaurant in years. :-)

We went to a private do here and it was great. There were about 100 of us and as the weather was good, there was outside seating too.....we had some starters, mains, but all served as individual portions - a flying buffet they call it! All sorts on the menu including ostrich! Nicely served and tasty too!

Great mixed grill with chips and salad plus nice pils beer. Good service from friendly staff. Great value for money. I would recommend this place to the hungry diner.

Reataurant Gaumenflug ist einmodern eingerichtetes Lokal mit frischer kreativer Küche am Sportflugplatz Günzburg.
The service has improved since last year but does not match the quality of the food. Du is spoken here, it did not disturb me but some customers seem to be upset. The waitress was very attentative and asked us several times if everything was OK. My steak had no spices at all and salt and pepper was not available on the table. The food takes longer because it is prepared separately, this is not a fast food restaurant. I will visit here again.

Excellent menu choice, great atmosphere inside and outside. Staff kind, helpful and more. Prices fair according to the quality and ellaboration. It is a 1h drive from Munich, but definitely we will come back. If you are in the neighbourhood (e.g. Legoland), it is highly recommended!

We have been here with our family (3 kids) in the evening after a day in Legoland. Reservation might be needed. Restaurant is on the market of Gunzberg, quiet and nice place to come.We took one dish, pasta with seafood (baby octopus, scampi...)Pasta was top and had a great taste. Service was super. Seafood was great and well prepared (not over done)We made a mistake when we ordered, however the team corrected this without any problem and cost.I would recommend this restaurant to everybody who would be in the area.

My friend took me here for breakfast. There was a good selection on the menu and prices were reasonable. I ordered the Maximillian which includes, breads, boiled egg, fruit in yoghurt and cheese and meats. As I don't eat meat this was changed for different types of cheese without a problem. The portions were extremely generous and this option could easily be shared for two. Staff and service were efficient. I would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food and service. We chose Rindersteak and salad. The 20 ounce steak was scrumptious and cooked perfectly. Very reasonably priced menu and beer was only a couple of euros. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

This was our default dinner place after a day at Legoland. We discovered it by chance as we intended to see the historic old town of Günzburg and the address (HauptstraÃe, Günzburg) made us believe we are right on track. Instead it is in the part of town called Deffingen, right across from a petrol station. Nevertheless, the beer garden was perfect on a warm summer day. We returned the next time and equally enjoyed our stay there. The next three times we could only sit inside due to the weather but even without reservation we always found a place (although this place is well frequented). Many visitors seem to be families with kids â staff is prepared with a kids menu and coloring pencils and a play area from smaller kids outside. Hence, no âkidsâ feeling for couple who just want a nice dinner. Bavarian specialties like Obazte, Swabian dishes like lentils or Maultaschen. Big portions for average prices (small prices if you have spent money on food at Legoland before). In the cellar they also have bowling â not the newest state of the art equipment, but still a lot of fun. Cheaper than Piraten Bowling at Legoland Feriendorf.

Ate here after a great day at legoland based on trip advisor reviews. Yesterday we ate across the road at Maximilian's which was very tasty and great food. This place was rated higher so we thought we would try it. Big mistake. They completely forgot our drinks order that eventually turned up 10 minutes after the main course after prompting. The children's nuggets were processed McDonald's style nuggets. The salad was very salty and generally poor. The mixed grill meat was average to poor and it felt like a tasteless heartless meal. Do not understand why this place had good reviews - it was expensive and there are better options here.
