I was with a group that lunched at Maderâs on a Saturday afternoon. The visit was planned months in advance including our entree choice, which was one of three offered. You would have thought we walked in off the street with no advanced arrangements. We were there an hour before we had our bread and salad. The entrees were warm at best and the strudel had been plated up for so long that the whip cream had deflated. I will not eat there again.

Went for lunch during the week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We ate (and drank) at the bar and enjoyed the company of the bartender. The pretzel & Obatzer works great and the pig wings should be a requirement. For some reason we got a free brat (Usinger's is across the street) for drinking beer. Who said there's no free lunch?

Mid-America's most honored German restaurant. Since 1902, this Milwaukee landmark has been serving American Presidents, and celebrities. America's finest German cuisine. You'll dine surrounded by a $4 million collection of medieval suits of armor, wood ca
Visiting Marquette university, took my family here for classic old world, German cuisine. Maderâs did not disappoint. Beautiful restaurant, felt like old Bavaria. Service was excellent. Food was delicious but expensive. Worth it for special occasions or when you want a great meal without the hype. I recommend the wiener schnitzel jager style if you like mushrooms.

We were woundering where all the people from Millwaukee gather in a weekend. As we mostly saw quiet streets in the city center. Well this beer hall could be one the places. And we understand why:- very nice and helpful staff. Truly commited to this brewery project,- great food (had the fish tacos and the saudages and both were delicious)- amazing beer! Would love to find all these beers back in Portugal...Great place to spend a morning or afternoon!

John Pandl opened Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn in 1915 right here in this historic building. The current owner is his grandson. Enjoy traditional German favorites as well as popular American entrées in a casually intimate atmosphere with fresh flowers on you
Jack Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn is a true old school, family style dining experience with a German influenced menu. The entrees are decent but not great and the service can be 'uneven' at times.

A fun place to eat, drink, and be merry. A mixture of American and German food and a great selection of beers. You can even have a tour of the beer making area on Fridays. Live music adds to the fun. PROST!
