Nice simple restaurant on a hill surrounded by vineyards, with a great view to the Vosges. They serve homemade cakes and little meals as Flammkuchen, sausages, traditional sausage-salad and snacks like fries etc.Especially the Flammkuchen is excellent and available with different toppings.Very friendly staff!Perfect place for a nice sunday afternooon!
The Mami was sitting at the table doing crosswords (she even used one of these professional cross-word to assist her efforts), but checking everyone coming in; We obviously passed the brief "being eyed" test and were allowed sitting down and order. The food was served promptly by a friendly professional waiter. Without delay we were also asked if all is okay to which we replied "all fine" (in German).

We stayed at this guest house for 2 nights celebrating our 22 year anniversary. Travelled through the black forest. Their food was the best we had on our trip thus far!! Room very spacious! Lovely bathroom. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was also great. The dinner was 5* plus!! We could not finish it! Felt so bad! Would definitely return if we had the opportunity. Strongly recommend this gorgeous place!

We stumbled across this restaurant while hiking in the Durbach hills. It is in a lovely setting and we were able to sit on the outside deck and watch the sunset. The menu is reasonably priced and looked promising; however the food was really nothing special - it seemed as though someone opened prepackaged items, then heated and served them. Still it was a very pleasant environment and it would be worthwhile to go there for a drink.

Don't think, simply go there; you will definitely not regret it. I am not sure if they speak English, but if you make to the place you will not have an issue anyway. The food is real traditional German with modern plating (the portions are huge so bring a good appetite).Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung!! Es freut uns, dass es Ihnen bei uns geschmeckt hat.

We were lucky to have a table due to a late cancellation. The reception was most friendly . We decided for the menu starting with a wonderful "bear's garlic" soup. Our main course was a variety of lamb cuts served with potato gratin and fresh vegetables from the market. Our desert was a nougat parfait served with strawberries compote. The service was friendly and efficient. If you are visiting the wine country of Durbach, a lunch or dinner at Linde is highly recommended.

The wine tasting was excellent. We tried 5-6 of the more than 20 whites available. Our group of si X bought three cases so the wine was very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant part is very good as we've eaten there before. Stick with local specialties and you can't go wrong.

We went to Restaurant Rebstock the other day to celebrate two birthdays in our family with a lunch. All of us looking forward to this experience, since we had been there before and love the terrace seating, overlooking the nicely landscaped park and the vineyards / Black Forrest hills. Unfortunately this time our experience was not very positive, mainly due to the service we got, or rather did not get. Food was good overall, very good local cuisine with fresh seasonal ingredients. However, from when we arrived and ordered it took well over one hour for us to receive our mains, and that's only when we asked for them. Especially for those of us without starters this was way too long, we ended up feasting on the meagre bread baskets as everyone was extremely hungry. On top we also had kids with us who finished all their kids portions and desserts before we even got our main course. When asking for the whereabouts of our food the response of the staff was not particularly caring, just borderline of not being bothered. Instead they kept on asking us at least ten times if everything was fine when passing by our table. Overall, this was quite a negative experience and I would think two or three times before I return. And in case someone from Restaurant Rebstock is reading this with an open mind: It's ok to charge a bit more on the prices side if you got a good package to offer, but if not, value for money calculation just does not work out. Service is an integral part of every restaurant experience, so take your guests seriously and show them that you genuinely care about them.

This is a delightful hotel with a great restaurant. It is set in a residential area about 15 mins walk from the Offenburg train station. We visited so that we could take the train from Offenburg to Donaueschingen a great trip through the Black Forest. A little dated in parts but that is its charm. Good parking. The chef has a great menu of traditional German fare, great flavours. Good choice of dishes and price range. Nice little garden with childrenâs play area. Booked direct via email, good efficient response. Would visit again to enjoy restaurant. Helpful pleasant staff. Unusual combination of great restaurant good hotel, Fantastic value. I agree a great base for the Black Forest, and saves on the high Swiss prices.
