Restaurant is located on the banks of the Rhine River, not far from the Benrath Palace, in case you wish to spend a day riding bicycle and combine it with delicious, romantic dinner. The restaurant is decorated resembling its fishery background (as the name suggests). We had goat cheese wrapped in puff pastry with orange coulis for starters, fishes for main (Dorade, Sole), and tankabean creme broule with rose bud sorbet and fresh fruits. All were fantastic! The fish was fresh, not frozen, something extraordinary for Dusseldorf. We were lucky with the weather as had it rained, we would not have found an empty table inside. Reservation recommended!

Enjoyed the meals and the drinks and the atmosphere. Service slow - food good. Best reserve a table then there will be no problems, especially at the weekend.

I decided on this restaurant after wasting my time traveling to another restaurant in the area that was suppose to be open but I found closed. I am very glad that the first restaurant was closed. Our family of 5 was seated right away and we were fortunate to get a seat as it was rather small and it was quite busy when we walked in though it appeared that most were there for takeout.I have 3 kids ages 12-14 and they ordered salami and margherita pizza as well as the mushroom pizza brot and all 3 liked their respective choices. My husband had a classic burger and I had a chicken burger and both of us were very happy with our choices. All the staff we encountered were pleasant and when we come back to the area in the future, we plan on eating here again. The prices were VERY reasonable, food was good, and the kids loved it. What more could one ask for?

Gerne wieder!

I was in the area on business when a local suggested this restaurant to me. It was a little expensive, but the food was very good. I loved the mustard seed paste on the steak. It made it quite unique. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop for dinner and then take a stroll around the town. It was worth the detour!!!

My friends took me to this wonderful little restaurant. The menu featured traditional German foods. I had schnitzel and spargel - the best I had my entire trip. The service was excellent. The dessert was amazing - they had several specials featuring fresh strawberries. It has nice courtyard seating. It was a very relaxing wonderful dinner.

We visited Zons earlier this month. The staff were very helpful and helped us to translate the German menu. We ordered a kebab and a schnitzel and both were delicious. You could eat in or takeaway and the prices were very reasonable! A very good find!

Awww this place is tops in the summer! You can sit outside next to the Rhine and enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Its a bit off the beaten track which makes it better. Good for couples, friends and families and the staff are friendly. Food is great and priced as it should be. Reasonably. We've eat here in the autumn when outside isn't an option due to the weather and it turns into just another pub type restaurant. Its do- able at this time of the year but its 100% better in the summer when you can eat outside and watch the river traffic slide by. Yes, its a nice place.Worthy a squidgy at.

...the place is usually buzzing, which is nice since there is enough of space for everyone. Food is of good quality, prepared with imagination. Friendly service
