The place is characteristic, it seems an old tavern. They sells they own products such as wind and salami, speck. The personell is gentle and dressed is Sudtyrol style. The food is good, I recommend Canederli and Mosto (that is the grape juice that will become wine after fermentation). The location is nice, you have a beautiful view on the valley. The place is not recommended for family.

We came for dinner to this freshly renovated restaurant in brewery style in the heart of Lana. Modern interior and good Bavarian kitchen and beer The place to be if you prefer Southern German lifestyle, especially during summer at the outside beergarten. All service personnel was very friendly and attentive. Food came in very large portions and tasted excellent. Is this a helpful review? The restaurant is situated on top of a mountain. The view in front is marvelous. The interior is very nice too. The restaurant serves local cuisine. I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The service is very friendly and efficient too. I am quite often in this region. Beside the luferkeller in riffian this is my favorite place around Meran.

My husband and I wanted to have a proper warm and satisfying meal after a very intense hike in Merano. We looked on Trip Advisor and settled for the Löwenwirt. Immediately after stepping in, we smelled the sweet smell of meat roasting over fire - and there it was was!!! An open fire pit with chicken and ribs on spits slowly rotating over the fire. We could hear meat juice dripping into the flame. We ordered half a chicken, the ribs, sauerkraut and roast potatoes. Everything tasted amazing. I didn't expect to have one of the best German meals of my life in Italy, but there it was. The meal was exceptionally affordable for the quality and we will definitely come here again whenever we go hiking in the area.

During our return to Merano in 2019 Forsterbrau restaurant once again played a key role in our great time that we had. Visiting and eating in the restaurant is all around great experience. Service is excellent. All staff move around like well oiled machine, yet machine with a nice human touch and care.The food here is spot on. God combination of the classic Tyrolean and Italian cuisine, always with a slight twist as the seasonal ingredience allow. However all we tasted here was VERY GOOD. Can't wait to visit some time in the future. Sure there wil be next time.

Seemingly hundreds of people sinking vast amounts of Forst beer from across the road to accompany the good plain Tirolean food. It's dusty, it's noisy and no place to wear your best clothes but great fun especially when there is live music

Restaurant close to the brewery has a big and well attended terrace. They have a good beer, varied and affordable wine card and rather extensive menu. Food is very Austrian, with a lot of meat. It's okay but not very special and not very cheap. Staff is efficient but they missed the personal touch. Food was there, shortly after we ordered it. At the end of the dinner the waiter offered a drink from the house. Good parking facilities.

Indeed excellent service and dining.The meal was delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced.Waiters and waitresses were super friendly and indeed interested in your dialog. Super fast service, the meal was served in a flash.1 minor drawback was the cost of an additional salad of 4 Euros.The waiter made sure though that I really wanted that.

A nice local restaurant with earthy local food at reasonable prices. The restaurant seems to have two rooms, I found the first one a bit dark and austere , whilst the second one, more towards the back, was much lighter and more inviting. My asparagus with ham, potatoes was delicious. All very fresh. The open house white was very drinkable too!

After a few hours of rock climbing nearby Lana my friend and i were hungry. We accidently stopped at this place and ordered a pizza that was made very thin (italian-style) in a stone-ovenService is also friendly and fast, can really recommend this place
