This modern craft brew house (with a long tradition) is located in a beautiful and tall industrial space close to the Merzig Yacht club and harbor. The beer garden is just lovely when the weather permits. The "Saarfuerst" beer which comes in varieties "Hell", "Rot" and "Dark" tastes very good. Service is friendly and fast (sometimes overworked when the beer garden is busy).The food could use a little TLC, the spear ribs were under-cooked and the Wiener Schnitzel (from Pork) lacked flavor and was carelessly plated. Still a very recommended venue, because of the building, beer and location.

Wenn ich nicht einen "Schlemmerblock" gehabt hätte, wäre ich wohl dort nicht eingekehrt. Das ÃuÃere ist sauber aber schlicht - ein Landgasthof wie es viele gibt. Aber im Inneren wird der Gast mit einer sehr ansprechenden modernen Atmosphäre überrascht. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Essen ist ganz toll.
Ich nutze den Lieferservice von Milano regelmäÃig und war bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Die Bestellung mach ich meistens über die Webseite...schnell und unkompliziert.
This is a quaint German pub with lots of ambience. We stumbled on it since it was the only place open on Mondays. But we found it very good. We had home made pumpkin soup. It's a great little place in Dillingen with typical German fare. There are a lot of new restaurants around the locomotive roundhouse which includes a WWII bunker. Dillingen is a great place to visit.

Vorweg: Man macht definitiv nichts falsch, wenn man hier einkehrt. Bodenständige Küche, vom Ambiente erinnert alles an die 70er Jahre, der Service ist ok, die Karte bietet vielen Geschmäckern etwas, nur Vegetarier dürften sich etwas verloren fühlen. Champignonrahmschnitzel fantastisch! Frische Sauce. Ford in bleu sah auch gut aus, Pommes selbstgemacht, Bratkartoffeln sehr gut, Whiskymariniertes Rumpsteak sehr gut und perfekt auf den Punkt gegart. Das grobe stimmt, was jedoch Abzüge gibt sind die Feinheiten: Salatdressing langweilig, Chilimarmelade zum Steak Convenience aus dem Asia-Laden und mit viel zu wenig Geschmack und Schärfe.Wir waren die einzigen Gäste an einem Samstag Abend!!!Das hat das Restaurant nicht verdient. Vielleicht hilft es, sich auf ein Thema zu konzentrieren. Entweder gut bürgerlich, denn das kann der Koch definitiv oder moderne Küche, dann aber besser richtig und OHNE Convenience

Traditional food which is a lot more tasty than I feared when I saw the menu - it has pictures of each dish which normally is a bad sign. Generous portions and quick service. Payment is cash only.

We were escorted to the back garden, and pick our seats. The waitress then proceeded in asking us what we would like to have to drink as we looked over the menu. We started out this hot July evening with a Aperol Spritz, enjoying the atmosphere of sitting in the back garden of the restaurant. The menu offer a variety of dishes : Fish, Beef, Pork, Chicken as well as the Menu of the day.As we reviewed the menu I had the Lacsschnitte Hummer (Salmon ) and my wife the Hauptgang Menu consisting of fish.Since we were both having fish we decided on a liter of Auxerrois Blanc , a white wine that is a sibling of a Chardonnay. Fresh and refreshing, as it rolled over the pallets of the tongue. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a tasteful lobster sauce. The accompaniments were a baked potato with sour cream and chives (my choice) and a garden salad with a delightful vinaigrette dressing. My wifeâs meal consisted of a fillet fish, topped with a cream sauce with chives, a baked potato and a blend of mixed sautéed vegetables.We enjoyed a lovely meal here; the food was well prepared and tasty. The portions sizes were good. Felt very welcome in this local restaurant, excellent service and friendly staff.

Ayant déjà mangé 2 fois dans ce restaurant il y a quelques années, mes souvenirs étaient-ils meilleurs que la réalité ? Plats relativement fades même pour le Feuerfilet qui n'en a que le nom. Service très correcte mais long. Près de 3h à table pour 4 plats principals et 4 desserts. Carte des desserts minimaliste. Environnement très agréable au cÅur de la forêt.

The quality of this restaurant is all encompassing, with a lovely setting, excellent service and knowledgeable, attentive staff serving a variety of food that at times challenges convention with the combinations used. Add to this an extensive wine list featuring regional and national product and you enjoy a perfect evening.
