We spent one or two hours in this location for dinner with our family, incl. two children under 10 years. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is very friendly. The menu offers a good selection of local and traditional food. A few smaller dishes are offered for kids as well. We can recommend this restaurant.

Plain and simple one of the best restaurants I know. The food is spectacular, the service is perfect and everybody makes you fell like you're at home. Medium price range, not cheap, not really pricey, but a bargain for what you get. 100% recommended

Nice restaurant on the spa side of town.waiter was friendly and appreciated the small amount of Croatian we knew when ordering.Reasonably priced, nice beer and good selection of food. No English menu but types of meat indicated on the menu.

Found this place for lunch on the weekend and while we found the food to be ok, the service was awful. It took the waiter almost 15 min to ask for our drink order as he was too busy cleaning some of the 8 tables on the terrace and when we wanted to order, he became quite rude. One of us wanted to order from the "Brotzeit"-menu (a hearty snack) and he started to get aggressive saying that it would be nasty to order from that menu at lunchtime and that it would create so much work for the kitchen. It was not evident from the menu that there was a limitation to order from that menu only during a certain time of day.... Being somewhat intimidated, that guest changed her order though we should have walked away.Definitely not a friendly place while the food was standard Bavarian fare. Can´t recommend this place.

To cut a long story short: if the service were more attentive, I would have rated this place as "excellent". For its typical ambience, regional and seasonal menu, good choice of wines, and very good value for money. The food is freshly prepared with everything home made, including the sauce tartare; hence we didn't mind to wait longer than expected for it to arrive.

Having opened only a few months ago in the Kurhaus area of Bad Tölz, Binder-Bräu has already established its name for craft beer and typical Bavarian cuisine. They brew a few standard beers, such as lager, WeiÃbier (wheat beer) and dark beer, and in season special beers such as Maibock and others. The menu offers a good choice of Bavarian dishes, including snacks (Brotzeit). When busy, the waiting time for the food is longer than usual, but it is all freshly prepared and very tasty. For a larger group, one can book a guided tour through the brewery which is very recommendable.

We were taken there by a cousin, who's son had designed the lighting, so were prepared for a great experience. The place is very modest looking, but packed, so they must be doing something right. Our food was very good and reasonably priced, so that was part of the explanation. It is very much into the farm to table movement.

A real hidden gem. The unassuming, idyllic farmhouse setting with strutting roosters and lush chestnut trees makes it a perfect spot for gemütlich summer dinner. The trouts here are simply delightful! We had trout stuffed with rosemary and almond-crusted trout fillets. They were well seasoned, with just right amount of herbs and spices. It's the least place to expect fresh and well prepared seafood in Bavaria. I was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be coming back for the trout, if not for the summer breeze :)

We booked ahead on a Tuesday evening and got a sit-by option which means sharing a larger table with other people. No problem at all. Staff were friendly, impressively efficient and approachable. We had the game specials, utterly great, tasty, satisfying and filling. Lovely atmosphere, mainly locals, which I always take as a good sign. Well deserved rating.
