Dieses Restaurant hat sich auf Maultaschen spezialisiert und bietet diese in verschiedene Ausführungen an. Sehr günstig und sehr lecker. Werden nun öfter dahin gehen.

Wer auf der B14 an Backnang vorbeirauscht, kann hier sehr gut abfahren und den Biergarten und Kaffeebereich ansteuern, weniger als 2km von der Abfahrt entfernt und mit reichlich Parkplätzen ausgestattet. Der Flammkuchen war wirklich klasse. Bevor der Biergarten (Selbstbedienung) um 16.00h aufmacht ist das Cafe schon in Betrieb. Der Service war leicht verpeilt, aber das war vielleicht nur Pech. Empfehlung.

Joined local friends here for lunch. Food of an acceptable quality and quantity, day's menu reasonable for both price and quality. Several errors made on order, which slightly influenced the views on the restaurant. Very typical German menu, and prices.

I'd been to various iterations of the Bürgerhaus restaurant before, but only the Markgraf has got my repeated custom. I was thre for my wedding anniversary and the food was plentiful, beautifully presented and tasty and the bar very relaxed. Service is friendly and helpful, possibly with a little something on the house after. The best German restaurant in Backnang, I would say. Highly recommended and not just for pre-theatre food (although combining it with a trip to the Bürgerhaus above is obviously a pretty logical thing to do).

Try the Steak Menu which is now served daily. It is not really cheap but quality justifies the price of 39 Euro per person. No drinks included.

cosy restaurant/pub with good home made food an nice choice of wines (and beers). A typical meeting place in a small city, where you always meet nice people. The patron Petra is a very nice person.
