Nice place to eat, there was a crowd of locals who seem to have a good time there. We all ate wiener schnizel and it was nice, we payed 61 euro for 5 persons.

Its a guesthouse and a restaurant
The atmosphere sat outside this restaurant was lovely. Locals playing cards and families and friends enjoying themselves. We ordered a sharing platter which was expensive for what it was but tasty all the same. The staff were attentive and polite and it was good to try some traditional local food

I have been here twice in the past 3 years. The food both times has been very good. I had the pastrami fillet which was excellent. The salad was a little on the small side, and somewhat plain. I didn't have the soup, but was told it was good. The one negative was I found the table to be a little cramped, and the seating itself wasn't great (comfortable). The restaurant does have a little bowling alley (2 lanes - traditional 9 pin) for some after dinner fun if you haven't had too much to drink.

Here you can taste the famous Villacher Beer, served with delicious Austrian specialities.
This lovely restaurant, with a tree covered terrace, is less then 8 minutes walk from the train station. We had less than two hours between our train from Slovenia and our bus to Venice. This was a wonderful slice of Austria for us. The sausages were good, and the strudel was excellent!

Been there yesterday, the waiter unfortunately rather had a goof than talk with her clients who do not speak German, in English. The food arrived rather quickly, and the plates were very hot, which I liked a lot, since the food didn't get cold that fast. The most annoying thing was that the non-smoking area was not ventilated sufficiently, which made the air inside quite unpleasant.

I got the steak 250g with kartoffel, bacon and green salad...so, the steak, medium rare, was perfect and maybe the best that I had here in Austria!Half liter of nice red wine from Italy, a GOOD espresso (i'm italian), for 29 euro. Legit.

A secret hiding pace is an understatement. Kilometres up from Osiachersee, this is a magical little hut which offers fantastic local cuisine. All food is hand made of local ingredients and offer a limited menu yet amazing food. The variety of Kasenudln on offer is many and all are amazing. I took a local here who did not even know about it.

I have traveled in many countries and different atmospheres. I really enjoyed this upbeat and comfortable spot for the views of the beautiful lake and especially the warm welcome and chats with the wait staff and owners. They asked about our travels and offered great suggestions of spots with should see before we leave the area. The owners were around and checking on customers. Every dish we tried was delicious! Even one of the specials of fried liver and onions. The pizza was unique combinations and desserts were great too! It's a great pitstop on the way as you are touring through the area or if you decide to stay at the camp ground.
