We visited this restaurant when staying at the Sindersdorfer Hof. Ordered soup with homemade noodles, vegetable cream soup and pork medallions with spaghetti. I liked everything, it's delicious like at home.A great place to eat while traveling.(For information: the kitchen works up to 20-30)

Tipp: Rinderbäckchen in BurgundersoÃe.Bei schönem Wetter im Biergarten einen Schattenplatz reservieren.

If you're looking for a historic pub in a medieval setting, this is the place to go. Claudia, the owner, has run this place successfully for years. It has a dungeon theme (hence the name Zwinger), the cellar was built in the 13th century for wine storage. It is the perfect place to go for a warm soup and a cold beer on tap. Beers from the local brewery (Pyraser) are featured, as well as Guiness on tap. Service can be slow when it's full, so you shouldn't be in a hurry when you come here. Open in the evenings (after 6 p.m. daily, closed Sundays).

Me and my friends were traveling across Europe and stumbled upon this restaurant, we ordered cordon bleu and schnitzels, they came with salads and fries and it was very delicious.

Visited this bar/restaurant 3 times and always comes up to expectations. The menu is typical Franken, with lots of pork dishes and always well priced. The dearest meal is about 8 euro,.
I have been here before. It serves excellent local cuisine and it is reasonably priced.I visit anytime I am in the region. They also have rooms to rent.Service is excellent and one can choose from alcohol free beer to normal beer.I recommend this place highly

Holiday travel from our home in the Netherlands to Carinthia, Austria brings us in the vicinity of Allersberg in the waning lunch hours if traffic jams are of reasonable proportions. As mentioned in my previous review, nothing is better than to travel the short distance from the motorway to the historic center of Allersberg and, weather allowing, sit outside the Goldener Löwe for a tasty lunch with a cold Tucher beer. As there is also an OMV petrol station in Allersberg with reasonable prices, all conditions for a perfect stop over are fulfilled.

Gasthof Endres mit GastenhausOur group of 5 stopped at this quaint, family style restaurant in Allersberg for a late lunch at the beginning of December. It is clean, quiet and cosy in itâs traditional decor that was accented with Christmas decorations to celebrate the holiday season. The food was traditional and fresh, the pork butchered the day before. I had an excellent Schnitzel Wiener Art, which was breaded pork cutlets, that came with a fresh green salad and potatoe salad, and shared a Swiss sausage salad that was also very good. The restaurant doesnât have pretzels, but their bread is very good. The service was casual, but friendly and efficient. The price/quality ratio excellent. If you are in the area and want a good German, family style restaurant, then this is well worth a stop.

a small restaurant with international, always fresh dishes, friendly english speaking service. Frankonian Beer, different wines. Lovely Garden. Just 1 km from A9 in direction to Roth.
I had lunch here with a friend and have not enough superlatives for this cosy restaurant. The ambience is wonderful with 4or 5 tables small but still roomy. The lady of the house made us very welcome and her husband who is also the Chef came to greet us too.I had the beef tongue with aubergine and stone mushrooms,my friends had a chicken dish. 2mains and a child plus 2 deserts and 4 beers came to just under â¬60.All I can say this is the finest restaurant (in my opinion) that is in this part of Franken.Without doubt I will return
