Setting was very quaint and the elderly gentleman waiting on the tables was lovely. Also great was the wine and khinkali. However the two main dishes a chicken dish in a ceramic dish we thought was very ordinary and the beef with pomegranate only slightly better.

We are two couples, one of which is vegetarian. We really liked the ambiance in this restaurant, casual and arty. We shared salad starters and then had mains all of which was very good. The white wine we had was the best we tasted (Orgo) and the cost of the whole meal was very reasonable.

Wine bar and shop in the center of Tbilisi (Sololaki), place to drink, eat, meet, enjoy and take home a bottle afterwards. Great wine collection that mostly celebrates artisan Georgian wine makers, local chacha. The blackboard menu changes regularly, so yo
This place was perfect for a light meal and a chance to try a range of wines. Lots of share plates (the trio of pates was very good) and a few soups and salads. Not an extensive menu but enough choice and each dish was very good. Not expensive. Highly recommend. Thank you, Robyne

Art and sweet met here & fell in love with one another... Every day we go to work hoping to do two things: One make our friends happier and another one is to share good coffee and desserts.. Our goal is to create unforgettable moment to our customers. Art
I don't know why this place is #5 among cafes in Tbilisi. Breakfasts are very simple and average. I had the English breakfast with a cheap boiled tasteless sausage from the supermarket and canned beans. Cappuccino was too hot so I burned my mouth. Cakes are dry, stale and boring. The food doesn't cost it's money.

just the best lunch i had in georgia! aside from the lovely view, the great and really friendly staff, and the extensive wine list the food was cheaper than chips and OMG was it better! i started, as you do, with a margarita! the ultimate amuse bouche! then i had a salad, big enough for 4 people and including an entire radiccio lettuce as a starter. then, naturally, i had that oh, so georgian of things, khachapuri with a glass of amber wine...nom nom! i had never had it before, it is a pizza/pretzel cross filled with cheese and baked with an egg on the top. i didnt need to be told how to eat it, breaking off the crust and dipping it came naturally, but it was just the ultimate comfort food! if we had this in scotland, it would be the ideal hangover cure washed down with a can of irn bru, avaliable everywhere on a sunday morning...but i digress!the wine was delicious, and the double espresso i had to follow was creamy and exotically bitter. what a meal. i followed it with another coffee and a cointreau, which took a bit of explaining, but we got there in the end, and it was just the best meal i had in tbilisi. all this for about $25 and really lovely service.....its a great place.

The restaurant offers great Georgian cuisine with friendly and helpful staff. Got served by Masho, great staff ;-). The quantity and quality is definitely worth a visit. The menu has lots of choices, definitely easy to find something for the meat or non-meat lover. For lunch, between 10am and 3pm the restaurant offers a 15% discount. This restaurant is a must try. Very reasonable priced.

The Best place to relax and taste a real Georgian wine. In this magnificant place, you can have a mix of wide variety of family made wine and Georgian natural cheese.
Apart from the cosy setting with nice soothing music and nice wine of course, the best part is the super friendly owner. He is so thoughtful and so accomodating, it completes the entire experience. Came here two consecutive days! Try the bread too, taste great with cheese and honey dip!

Barbarestan is a little untypical Georgian restaurant for Tbilisi. In fact, its a cozy Georgian apartment where a big, noisy and hospitable family lives, as the owners of the restaurant are happy parents of 10 kids! For this new project creative team of "
Fine dining experience, upscale food. These people know the true meaning of hospitality and really care about the guest experience. Any food business in Tbilisi should consider this a benchmark. In majority of the other highly quoted restaurants weâve been to we had great food but service was always lagging behind. Cuisine innovative, based on fresh seasonal ingredients, well executed and served. Itâs a truly new reading of Georgian culinary legacy. Their wine cellar has lots if hidden gems that wonât force you to break the bank.Considering coming back to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Come, experience and enjoy yourself.
This is a place where you should spend the whole evening and gain wide range of experiences altogether, not just going for eating purposes. The food was excellent, very diverse menu with interesting fusions of traditional Georgian with some new creations. So was the service and the friendliest staff with traditional Georgian clothing. Tableware was close to art. We enjoyed watching traditional dances, listening to traditional folk-jazz band and later, dance scenes with live music from on of the greatest live bands in town. Overall, glad to see a restaurant managing to beautifully demonstrate national traditions, at the same time trying to mix it with modern in a classy way
