Booked in quite late for a kid free meal and it was perfect! The location was lovely, the decor very bo-ho and the food selection right up our street. Also top marks to our waiter who when we asked about one of the wines was very frank in that he'd not been getting good feedback on it and gave us some other cheaper options. So big thumbs up for honesty! We ordered 5 tapas (or is that Tapases?) between the 2 of us and all of them were really nice and very flavoursome. Service was very attentive but not overbearing, so just right. Would happily go back again!

This building has been heavily renovated. They now brew their own beer and have spirits at a very reasonable price. They have a kitchen with a chicken rotisserie and fresh bread and fries. A very good and tasty set up. Ask the barman about the History if you dare...

After our disappointment of the Menai Hotel we found The Waverley.We found it clean warm and friendly,the bar had a great atmosphere and no its not The Ritz but for the price we payed it was great and handy for the train station and walk in to Town on our return there was a folk night in the lounge, totally enjoyed our two night stay and if I gig in Bangor again its a no brainer ....cheers guys
