I came across this gem while looking for houses in the College Hill area of Wichita. From one direction, you can't even tell there is a restaurant in the building, so it almost didn't catch my eye. Once I saw it, I felt a good vibe and decided I would come back for a late lunch and check it out. Boy, am I glad I did.The hostess was not overly welcoming, but she may have been new or shy. I ate at a booth in the bar area and was served by the bartender who was fantastic with both her menu recommendations and providing just the right amount of attention for me, not too much and not too little. I tried the pretzel bits for an appetizer, a burger for the main course, and the brownie sundae and all were absolutely fantastic. The dessert and the fries that came with the burger were each enough to feed a table of 3 or 4, so perhaps consider that when you order sides and dessert.I'm looking forward to returning in two weeks when my wife and daughter come in for the house hunting!

We stopped here for lunch after seeing a concert the night before. The food was good but the beer was only ok. I would have liked to see a broader selection (they were very ipa heavy) and my stout was good but not remarkable. That said it would be a good place to grab a meal and a beer if youâre more into hoppy beers than I am.
