Julian the owner has really tried to bring his knowledge of time spent in Australia and the Uk into this bar. It's a fun atmosphere. They make great cocktails and do a show with juggling the bottles etc. The chef even showed us some magic tricks and he was very good. Later on they have an open mike so you can get up and sing with the musicians. They have a restaurant but we ate in the bar. Great thai fishcakes. If you're in Dax give this place a go.

Our daughter in laws parents live in Dax and several times on our visits to them we have been taken for lunch at the Atrium. We always like the art decor setting, the menu is extensive and varied, the quality of the food is excellent, and the service is attentive but not conspicuous.I believe it is as good for dinner. If you are in Dax well worth a try.

We went later on a Wednesday evening in May. After nine of us had had a few drinks at L'Atmosphere by the hot fountains, I was sent round the corner to find somewhere to eat. When I asked "Avez-vous une table pour neuf personnes?", the waiter was not surprised, promised a table in half an hour and the table was ready. We were on a tour supporting our rugby team and in out team colours -not the usual attire for a restaurant - but we were made welcome. The service was good, the food was very good local cuisine and we had complimentary wine. The waiter did not speak much English and some of us spoke little or no French but that was not a problem either. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
