Alex and Oliver Burnside reopened the doors of The Plough and Sail in April 2012. The twin brothers aim to offer their customers delicious food and drink, a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and exceptional service. Chef Oliver has a passion for quality, s
The Plough and Sail is in the rather uninspiring Snape Maltings shopping complex (apart from the brilliant concert hall). We had a very poor meal. The main issue was we ordered the special of a dover sole tempura, which was a nice tower of tempura swimming in a sort of runny fish and red pepper soup. So within a minute we were looking at a plate of food that had turned to a mush of soggy batter and fish strips. I have to hope that on this day the chef had simply got it wrong as there are so many other good reviews.

Nestled within the Deben Valley, 12 miles from the Suffolk Coast, The White Horse is situated in the picturesque village of Easton Our beautiful 17th century, dog friendly Inn, delivering quality food, fantastic service and stylish interiors.
Out for a light lunch at the White Horse and very pleasant it was too.Cameron was very helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable on both the ales and the food. He managed to rustle up something that was not actually on the menu and did some changes to my meal to make it the way I like it.This pub has come a long way in a shirt time under the recent change of management. Thanks Cameron et-al, excellent service and good banter.

Great food. Fab service. Relaxed vibe.Thatâs what The Unruly Pig is all about. And we are multi award winning. Most recently, our Chef has been named as 'Best Pub Restaurant Chef 2019/20' by the Craft Guild of Chefs . Weâre a 16th century Suffolk Inn with
My husband and I visited The Unruly Pig with two of our friends who had recently got married. We went on a Saturday night and was really looking forward to it as the menu looked lovely! We were not disappointed, we shared starters which were delicious and then had a main each. The food was faultless and much better than your average pub grub so I am baffled by some of the negative reviews. Our waitress was lovely too (sadly I have forgotten her name) but she overheard that we were celebrating my friends wedding and arranged for a plate of celebratory ice cream to be given to them which really ended the evening perfectly. We are not from the area sadly but if we ever visit again we will definitely come back to the Unruly Pig! Thanks very much for your visit and very kind comments .We will look forward to your return visit!

It has just had a refurb and my god this place is great. we were lucky enough to come across it on a sunday where they have launched a sunday Carvery. My gosh this was good. Speaking to the manager there he was saying that there is a lot of quality entertainment coming up in the year. Will be going to the whitney Houston one. will defo go there again.
