The food, from the amuse-bouche through dessert, was both delicious and artful without being fussy. Service was attentive, not intrusive, and cow's milk issues and dreadful French were both cordially accommodated. Reasonable prices, too, including those on the wine list. Decor is very basic, but you will hardly notice.

It looks an Industry area, and the building don' look that nice fr.o.m.the outside. However entering the restaurant it shows to be very nice. Modern style, very inviting. We were there a Tuesday evening, not crowdy but enough people to give a good atmosphere. Service perfect, and the food ( high variety) was very nice. We had 4 different dishes around the table. All were satisfied. If any complaints it should be that the St.Marcelin should have been somewhat more mature and tasty.....Thank you so much for this pleasant comment toward our restaurant La Forêt Noire. I love vegetables but invariably chefs find it difficult to produce, wonderful, inventive dishes without the star being meat or fish. Not here! Everything from the amuse Bouche to the dessert was incredible. A purée of carrots with carrot jelly and diced carrot was fresh and full of flavour. My risotto of fine herbs and tomatoes, was light and fresh with the aroma of the south of France in summer. The piece de resistance was a chocolate and blonde brownie with chocolate mouse. So delicious it was a taste of heaven.The staff were very friendly and helpful. Obviously passionate about what they were doing. A really fantastic find.

This restaurant was amazing. The atmosphere, the waiter, and the food were all beyond excellent. We had the four course tasting menu with wine pairing, and were thrilled with each course. The area is not your traditional touristy area, but do not be put off by that. The food and wine are outstanding!

On our way home from Spain to the Netherlands we decided to stay one night in Lyon. We found this restaurant throughout tripadvisor. It really is worth going there. 30 euroâs for 3 courses. Good service, wonderful dishes. It is worth it! Very nice ingredients, all fresh, wonderful for all your senses. We loved every course! Unexpectedly up-scale for a museum restaurant. We shared a salad, an excellent Sea Bream, and dessert. The food was great. The service was OK, although we had to ask for the bread. Seems to be a destination restaurant, not merely for folks visiting the museum.
