We luckily got into this restaurant at short notice. I'd have to say it's is one of the best restaurant experiences we've had whilst in France. The couple who run it are passionate about their wine and food. We don't speak French and the wonderful lady who is in charge of the floor carefully and meticulously explained each dish in English. My mouth was literally watering at the descriptions. The waiter was also super friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and they have a fantastic range of delicious wines by the glass (they keep the bottles in special machines to keep the open bottles airtight and at the perfect temperature) They suggested the perfect wines to match our dishes and each one was spot on. Overall the price was very reasonable considering the outstanding quality. The service was friendly and professional without being overbearing. The food was amazing. Don't miss this and you should reserve ahead to ensure a spot.

De l'extérieur ce restaurant "ne paye pas de mine" mais le vin est très bon, les propriétaires super prévenants et aux petits soins et que dire de la nourriture ? Succulente ! Un filet de boeuf absolument merveilleux accompagné d'une pomme au four mayonnaise maison et un baba au rhum pile poil comme je l'aime ont fait mon bonheur ce soir là . Des plats simples mais exécutés à la perfection avec des ingrédients de qualité. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt !

We chose this restaurant because of a specific dish we had found on their website, but ended up ordering something totally different. Plenty of choices here, and all of them were perfect. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and with my bits of French and their bits of English we managed to communicate efficiently. Italian food is served here, but also French-style food. I know that the high temperature (34 C) was unusual for Orleans, but the lunch suffered this issue. Table was outside on the walkside under a small tent. The host was kind. Fois gras was good, the raw meat was very good. Coffee dessert was curious, but not great.
