Found T.J.'s on a restaurant search after my earlier experience at another "sports bar" in the area. A couple of miles further, but worth a try. Found them fairly easily, they are off of Lancaster road in a shopping area, so don't drive past it! Parking is a bit of a challenge during peak periods, as is seating (only been on the bar side, may need to check the "table side". ) Anyway, the hostess got me to a hightop table near the bar, place about 85-90% full. (Again, only saw the bar side) Took several minutes for the server to get to me, but not because he wasn't working, he was crazy busy, the only server I saw that wasn't behind the bar.I think they need more staff and the place is so small there isn't room for too many more servers to get in and out of the kitchen... Anyway, I ordered a drink and the banging shrimp. Again, a significant wait for the drink as he is covering everyone... got my drink with the ice about half melted, still since it was bourbon on the rocks and I didn't think I would get the next one any faster, I wasn't sending it back! About 10-15 minutes later, the banging shrimp came out and I was pleasantly surprised at large shrimp cooked perfectly, with a very light "dusting" type breading with an excellent seasoned aioli with thinly sliced almonds and cilantro garnish. A very delicious take on the "spicy shrimp" appetizer that everyone has now.... So, I liked the appetizer well enough that I decided to stay with the theme. So I asked about the shrimp and dandan noodles, the server told me it was the most popular dish in the restaurant, so I gave it a shot... Well, now I know why it is so popular. Again the perfectly prepared shrimp in a smoked paprika based spice palette with a delightful Asian noodle and an excellent mix of seasoning and garnishes, with plenty of spicy broth. By the way, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of the Brussels leafs but never even tasted them, so no worries! I have been here 3 times in as many weeks and have had this same meal each time. One of these days, I will try some of the other menu choices... but maybe not...The food gets 5 stars. The parking, seating and waiting gets maybe 3 stars. But, I suppose since I go once a week, it must be worth it...

On Saturday night we went with another family to Brick and Brew. First thing you will notice is the wonderful setting. Although we were in the main dining room, there is outdoor deck seating too. Great Crab Dip, Pretzels, Mac-n-Cheese, Chicken Sandwich, and tasty Burgers. Will come back and sit outside this Fall. Special service and different people checked in on us during our dining experience.

Had a corporate gathering here on a Thursday night. Was very crowded- hostess was not the friendliest - actually she was very rude. Had 30 people and seemed very disorganized - not enough seating - no extra chairs. Hostess was rude. Didnât have a set waitress - seemed they where tag teaming - had to wait for more drinks - not very attentive at all. We where placed at a long table between booths and what looked like a service station where the staff was hustling around constantly. When food arrived they would come and yell - âwho got the whatever burgerâ - half the food wasnât even for our table. For as large as the place appeared and the amount of people we had I would expect they could have been more prepared, organized and placed us at a better location. Waitresses we had were nice - just running like crazy - (if your that busy hire more staff - as we could have drank twice as much but had to physically go find a waitress to ask for more rounds). Food was your typical pub food - nothing spectacular but decent. Burgers served with chips only - and not special chips just bagged potato chips.Thank you for your feedback! Sorry to hear about your experience Thursday night. If you could email me at [email protected], I would love to hear more about your visit. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you. - Lauren Geesey, Assistant General Manager
