We came here today for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The day before we had been to Lac Blanc and the standard of food was very poor.Great choice of hot and cold dishes, all well presented and very reasonably priced. The facilities were very warm, welcoming and clean. Nice friendly atmosphere. Thank you very much!!

We stayed at the 5 Terres Hotel&Spa in Barr and booked a table at the "La Table du 5" for our Anniversary Dinner. The modern atmosphere is mixed with the old architecture of the Building and stylishly furnished. The waiters all speak English and some also German. All very friendly and attentively. After ordering the Menu, the Sommelier came to us, and helped choose from a large Wine list with some great regional Wines, especially from the Grand Cru Region around Barr. I choose the Chefs Suggestion Menu, 3 Courses for 48â¬. Starter was pooched Egg with Patato Mash and Truffle Creme, Saint Daniel 18months and fresh chanterelles. Main course was Magret du Canard and for desert we both had a frozen Sorbet. Because it was our Anniversary, very unexpected, they brought us a Strawberry Creme Cake with a little light Show! Thanks very much again for that surprise. We are definitely coming back!

Absolutely wonderful evening. The food was absolutely delicious - foie gras, fish, steak, cheese and dessert for â¬45 is far too cheap for the quality of food. The hosts were so friendly too. Added a few photos - unfortunately forgot the foie gras and steak as they were my favourite! Highly recommended
