If you feel like something totally different and yet easy to do then the Fliegerpfandl is the place. It is literally situated inside the small Landshut airport and in good weather you get to sit outside within 50 meters of small planes landing and taking off.Was surprised to hear how loud small planes can be but thats part of the fun.The restaurant itself offers a traditional Bavarian menu with Obadsda and all the Bavarian dishes. Food was great and prices very reasonable. Service was great and eating while watching small planes and helicopters land and take off was a hit with my boys.

We meet a local native of Landshut here who is also a relative of one of the people in our group. This is a very comfortable restaurant that is located right on the Isar riverfront. They have a beautiful biergarten here, however, the night we came it was way too chilly to sit outside. They were able seat our large group together at a huge family style table which was perfect for dining and conversation.I enjoyed a very delicious pork shank with a great dunkle bier. Even though we were a rather large group our server was very accommodating and cheerful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we all had a great time here.

This Restaurant is in a Building whats over a couple hundred years old. This was the toll station at the time when you want to enter the City. Its a nice, warm traditional bavarian Restaurant with a lot of charming arches in there. Best bavarian food so far. Specially on Sunday when the "Schweinebraten" (pork roast) is fresh out of the oven around 11am!!! Dont expect a 5 star restaurant this one is old traditional but very clean and need. If you coming from Munich entering Landshut it the first turn right under the Railroad bridge, than straight 200mts across on the right hand side. Lots of parking in the courtyard where in summertime also the beergarden is. The Menue is quite big, i recommend stay with the Bavarian Food such as cold platters, cheese platters etc,etc...

This is a hidden gem tucked on the outskirts of Landshut. It is one of those no frills venues that offer inexpensive but exceptional food and beer and laid-back ambience. The staff is very friendly and efficient. In a typically Bavarian fashion, the place is very clean and well-kept. There is also a mini zoo/farm next to the beer garden, which makes it family friendly. If you want to let your hair down, don't hesitate to stop by Ellermuhle. Prost!

Quick dinner in the Augustiner prior to a concert in the Salzstadl. Wonderfully quick service from friendly efficient staff. Typically Bavarian fare. Restaurant is also old Bavarian style decor. Some of the staff speak English. The menu is also in English. I could just as easily have spent the evening in here as the concert was mediocre. Fully recommended.
