We were invited to play Bluegrass music at Notre Rest during the La Roiche Bluegrass Festival. When we finished playing we were invited to have a specially prepared meal of pork ribs, and talk about special!!! Notre Resto outdid all other attempts at making BBQ ribs by anyone I have tried so far including chefs in KC, Chicage and anywhere else that professes to make a nice plate of ribs. The serci and hospitality were A1+ and we will definately be back.

Un restaurant au coeur d'un village un peu paumé,avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes autour et une belle surprise avec cette table qui mérite le détour : un accueil chaleureux, des fleurs fraîches joliment arrangées, et un menu en semaine de bon rapport qualité/ prix avec des produits de saisons aussi bons que bien présentés.Mieux vaut réserver tôt, il y a du monde en fin de semaine.....

A very pleasant surprise to find this local restaurant serving simple but tasty brasserie-style dishes using fresh ingredients. Very few restaurants in the region are open on a Monday evening, which led us to such a welcome discovery. Service is efficient and super friendly and the patronne speaks excellent English if needed. For summer evenings when the auberge is âensoleilléâ there is a good sized terrace. We will definitely return.
