Tables are dirty and full of bread crumbs. The atmosphere is friendly but it is all what is positive about the pub. Beer is average quality nothing special at all, White wine served by glasses is awful. The waitress managed to mix our orders put them on the table , we almost started to eat them and she took it back to the kitchen and brought it back again. The quality of food is below average. Total disappointed!

Fantastic food with local specialities,Austrian classics and seasonal highlights. We have been at this restaurant during every visit every year and it never fails. Though today was a highlight. I ordered Kärntner kasnudeln which were fantastic. My mother had home made pasta with truffle cream sauce and shaved truffles and let me tell you there was no skimping on the truffle ! My husband on the other hand hat turkey medaillons with a curry sauce and basmati rice which was equally fantastic. My children had thin and crispy French fries and soup with homemade type noodles. A must visit when you are at The lake and worth a drive .Ps The chef is the owner of the restaurant !

The restauranr Sandwirt hidden behind the bar on the ground floor is comfortable .We are happy to find cotton "serviettes"on the table rather than paper napkins.Dinner is very good and starts with a boiled beef carpacci followed by .a well prepared sander fish garnished with roasted potatoes and vegetables in ratatouille.Dessert was a chocolate cake.I have experimented two local red wines, cabernet sauvignon and merlot, equally excellent but parts of an expensive wine list. Courteous and helpful service

Sehr nettes Lokal mit angenehmem Ambiente, man kann an der Bar sitzen oder bei Tisch, gutes Bier, feines Essen, alles in allem ein stimmiges Lokal, stets gut besucht. Am Abend gute Stimmung mit nettem Publikum und Service.

es gibt sowohl einen indoor- als auch outdoorbereich in dem sich gemütlich sitzen lässt.flotte und sehr kompetente bedienung, die von uns ausgesuchten speisen - allen voran eine geschmorrte lammkeule schmeckte so vorzüglich, wie ich sie bis dato nur von neuseeland her kenne. auch die anderen speisen wirklich gut! es werden ausser der karte auch tagesgerichte - wie eben damals die lammkeule - angeboten. ich kann diese landgasthaus nur wärmstens empfehlen!
