Our first visit here with friends who recommended the Roedeer. We werenât disappointed.The building, decor and grounds are beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious. Freshly cooked, hot and VERY tasty. The staff are lovely, special mention to Matthew, Nothing is too much trouble.The Roedeer is definitely a place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary with a room upstairs enabling a larger party to celebrate without being disturbed.Plenty of choices here and decent sized portions. We were asked straight away if anyone in the party had any allergies or dietary requirements. Overall a really beautiful place, fabulous food and lovely staff.

Visiting an elderly relative we picked this place to stay because of good TA reviews. We werenât disappointed. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The food at dinner and breakfast was lovely. The beer and gin were great. Our room was clean and comfortable but because it was the last available it wasnât en suite but nipping across the corridor to our personal bathroom wasnât a great hardship. We will stay again when in the area.

I finally had the chance to try out this lovely pub/restaurant after saying for years I was going too!! We went after recommendations from friends and it was certainly a good choice. Their was a great variety of food and the ingredients were locally sourced and very fresh. I couldnât fault it, the lady running it was also very accommodating and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.
