Welcome to the Millbrook Inn â gloriously situated in the charming village of South Pool, Devon. A place to discover and enjoy great, honest cooking in an atmosphere that celebrates why villages need pubs and pubs need villages. Take a look around and see
I was worried this was going to turn out to be an overpriced local pub, but although it was more than your average, the food more than makes up for it. We went with our boys, but they are at the age where it just about worked. I wouldn't have gone with any younger children - neither the menu or space would make it right for them really. I saw that they have a bbq on some nights with a different set up and that might work better for less formal. Extremely helpful front of house (owner?) was not sure who he was, but made us feel welcome, made sure the dog was comfortable and had water. What they call the bar snacks are more like starters really, and the menu is not 20 pages of inedible food, but a few choice options for fish, field and hedgerow to suit all, with some more basic, and value, children's options. Highly recommend. Make sure you book though as it is not a big place!
We always try to make a point of going to this fab little pop up restaurant/bar right beside the River Dart!It is in the front of The Dart Marina Hotel. The drink are served from a small converted van. The food is ordered here and brought from the hotel. We usually order their filled ciabatta and it comes wrapped in paper on an enamel plate to try to avoid the seagulls! The wine choice here is better than the hotel itself. On a sunny day this is the perfect spot to watch the river life go by!

My husband and I were in Dartmouth for the day on a sunny Sunday trip from Exeter . We strolled around looking at all lunch options and prices . The George and Dragon was a real find . Not on the front but still central it was spotless and the staff friendly and attentive. Their fish and chips were piping hot and yummy AND at least £3 cheaper than anywhere else we found . Thoroughly recommended.

The pub's postcode is TQ6 0PX
Tuesday restricted menu. The pizza were very average. At £12.50 we would expect more than one prawn and very few scallop on the fish pizza and ? frozen muscles. It looked like they were brought in rather than made on site. We were right next to the sea so disappointing to find such poor quality.

Bayards Cove Inn is the perfect place to come for a relaxing meal. We serve breakfast, lunches and delicious meals in the evening. Live music every Friday and Sunday nights.
We have just returned from a 6 day visit to Dartmouth. Having been for dinner here earlier in the year, we made sure we booked to go again, twice in fact. The first night was with our daughter and grandson and they fitted us in early which is what we wanted having a 9 month old dining with us. Food, service, friendliest staff and of course great food which only made us want to go back the following night with our friends who live locally. Well done Bayardâs Cove we will be back!

Wow what a find! The most amazing view watching the sun go down behind Dartmouth, just stunning. This is the friendliest pub Iâve visited, Jamie made us and our dog very welcome. Great selection of gin to choose from and the pizza was delicious, I had Brie little pigs and I donât know what they do to their chips but they are very tasty. Really good live music, buzzing atmosphere. I would highly recommend an evening here.
