Itâs situated in an old renovated industrial workshop, just behind the train station, next to the river. Youâre warmly welcomed by the boss herself, Sahondra . The food is refined and delicious. The place is beautiful with a great selection of wines. The kitchen , under the orders of Jean-Sébastien, is at the very center of the restaurant. I eat at their former restaurant in La Veveyse, Les Ateliers is even better. I heartily recommend it. 10/10

Produits de saison, saveurs locales, vins de qualité et vue unique au bord du lac Léman. Un petit coin de paradis où le temps s'arrête.
While hiking on the trail, we had seen this restaurant many times, the setting lovely, near the tennis club with beautiful views. My wife enjoyed a beautifully prepared chicken dish, done to perfection with fresh vegetables and quinoa. The second dish filet de perches which they claimed was fresh, but not from the lake missed. Cooked in too much butter which pooled on the plate was just not great at all, served with potatoes, and a wilted salad because of the butter. The hit of the meal was the desert of dark chocolate sorbet, which was wonderful. When coming into the asking to be seated thirty minutes before closing for lunch we were offered seats far from the front with good views of the mountains and water. We had to ask to be better located. The location rates the highest rating. The food, overall good. The service good.We however would return...

We visited the restaurant last Thursday for a nice get-together dinner. The dinner was everything but nice. First of all, we had to wait 1h10 minutes just for the starters, by which we struck the attention of the waiters multiple times. Apart from the first glass of wine we got served, we had to pour it by ourselves for the rest of the dinner. The foie gras had veins inside, which were impossible to swallow. The lobster could have been anything but lobster, even deep frozen prawn from your freezer, intelligently hidden by a thick sauce. As to expect, the mains hardly were any better. But the worst part came when we ordered the bill and asked for the manager who sent the head waiter. When he came, he had the audacity to raise his voice and gesticulate strongly on top of us, incessantly interrupting our feedback. Finally, he took the foie off the bill but insisted in not taking away any other items. FYI we barely touched the food, to which we were told we finished the entire plates. He even blamed us we were complaining in order to get the dinner for free (LOL).The best part of the night was actually leaving the restaurant. I never knew rubbish was so expensive - Swiss nightmare.

Chefs Arnaud and Bertrand are glad to welcome you at the new Buffet de la Gare, a historical place with stunning views over the lake. You will be able to indulge at any time of the day in a tasteful and inventive cuisine and a selection of regional wines.
Went back to this adress after it has changed management !And what a change !!!The food is on a local base, excellent products, perfectly cooked, very nice presentation...The wine list, very original, has nothing but local or regional, or related to thr region entries.Perfect wines, white and red, and at quite reasonable price !Of course, the most exclusive are more expensive, but really worth it !The two cooks are very pleasant and have a philosophy of treating you with the best products, changing quite often !We are sure of going back very soon...!And you...? Run...!

My husband and I are traveling Switzerland to celebrate 13 years of marriage. Since we were staying at the Suisse Majestic Hotel we knew the views at the restaurant were incredible (we were fortunate to spend our mornings there over breakfast, which I will admit, were wonderful). We decided that it would be a great place to watch the sun set over Lake Geneva dining at Restaurant 45. Iâm sad to review that it was so disappointing. While the view was incredible, and our food was actually pretty good also, everything was overshadowed by the indescribably poor service. Of all the meals we enjoyed and establishments we visited sadly, Restaurant 45 is the only place I wouldnât recommend. Dear JldSavage831,First of all, I would like to thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience with me, that I have fully taken into consideration. Making our guests happy is our priority number one, and thanks to your precious feedback we progress and improving our service. So thank you very sincerely for your message, it help us to be better.I am sad to read that you didnât enjoy your experience in our restaurant. To be honest with you , we have usually very good feedback for our Chef cooking and also about service team.As I mentioned our customers are our first priority, and I will make sure that, thanks to your feedback, this stays an isolated case. By any chance, could you give me more details?Hear my contact details: [email protected] hope that you enjoyed your stay and that we will be lucky to welcome you again our restaurant.Warm regards from Montreux,Yana Maillard / Sales Manager& Suisse Majestic team

Had a business dinner in the Auberge Communale, service was good and friendly and fast enough. The waiter briefed us on each dish (of which there were 4). Good atmosphere and would recommend for a slightly posher dinner occasion. Nice place, would go again.
