Like many other reviews, the main thing to say is that no food is available. This is a shame as the pub looks geared for food, with lots of tables and chairs. We had a very pleasant drink; the beer was well kept and the staff friendly.

We stopped on our way through hoping there was space as it was Sunday Lunch time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us get a table. They needed it back by a certain time but we were asked if that was okay which it was. The menu had a good choice though we both went for the Sunday Roast. The portion sizes were good, too large for us but the food was well cooked and tasty. It was served promptly and hot. The toilets were clean too. Prices were good for the quality of the food. Would be more than happy to return for food and perhaps to stay as a hotel guest. The only odd thing we found was some of the Spa clients eating their lunch in their dressing gowns and slippers, canât say it is something I would do or like to see in an eating area. Ate here in the pub attached to the hotel on Sunday, probably the best burger I have had for a while. The service however did not match the food. The staff were friendly but the service was slow and inept. We waited too long to order and receive our drinks and food.
