We found this restaurant based on its reviews after quietly walking out of another place (we made the classic tourist mistake of going for location and not checking the reviews beforehand) and we were not disappointed. Great service, very friendly owner, a fabulous mushroom fondue (and that's saying something because we live in Haute Savoie and have our pick of good fondues) and lots of little extras, such as a tasty 'amuse bouche' before the main, and a real attentiveness to ensure that our young children were confortable at the table. Definitely one to revisit when we're next in Annecy!

Great menu for a week day, we checked it out online. Definitely worth it from starters to desserts!Avoid inner city and go there without hesitation!

Very classy wines in a beautiful inner court. The most expensive wine (ex. champagnes) costs 7â¬/glass (a really nice burgundy pinot noir) so the price level is decent for Annecy.

Your reference pub and restaurant From 11 am to 2:30 am Welcome in your Irish Pub Captain located in Annecy in the Haute-Savoie. Our young and dynamic team welcomes you in a warm, traditional Irish to the rhythm of pop and rock music that will delight you
The place was packed when we arrived and had a really good buzz about it. Standing room only and we wanted to eat so when we saw a couple leaving we sat down at their uncleared table. 10 minutes later we finally caught the eye of one of the staff who proceeded to lecture us on ârestaurantâ etiquette and how we should wait to to be told we can sit down (seriously this is a pub that serves food, itâs not a formal restaurant setup) We found it initially amusing but less so when a second waiter came to repeat the lecture 5 minutes later and even less so when we waited 15 minutes at the end after asking for our bill before it came. Great place for a pint (the bar staff were lovely) but wouldnât recommend eating. The food itself was ok, nothing to write home about and certainly not enough to warrant the rude arrogance of the staff

The restaurant was open for lunch on a Monday, had nice ambience and air conditioning and the service was very good with an attentive waitress. The fish of the day (cod) was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor - squash purée with peas in a nice sauce. The set menu of the day started with a very fresh and flavorful tomato salad, then a really good tender pork dish and finished with a lemon tart. The cocotte vegetable dish is a perfect dish to share since it has lots of different vegetables and perfectly cooked and flavored. The octopus was also cooked very well and tender. The baked peach dessert was also very good. Good wine selection - we chose a bottle of white wine from Roussillon which was nice and dry. Good prices. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
