The interior of Stadthaus is really nice and, despite it's village location, is always buzzing. Booking is recommended for popular nights like Friday. Their tomato soup is amazing and so are all the pizzas and other dishes. Definitely worth a visit. Staff are always friendly!

Original, tasty and reasonably priced
I've eaten here several times and I've never been dissapointed. The service is very friendly and efficient and the food is just delicious for a reasonable price (keep in mind most ingredients are flewn in from Asia).Everything is made fresh and beautifully presented. The spicyness of most dishes is adapted to swiss taste buds but you can simply ask for a more spicy preparation. The restaurant is decorated tastefully with some thai touches but do not expect to arrive in an exotic vacation (I've read the other comments), if that's your thing get a plane ticket or expect higher prices. Or better yet; close your eyes and let the food take you to Phuket or Bangkok. Thanks for the positive review!

The ambiance was quite nice, Very informal & laid back. However would have preferred if they had few smaller tables. All the tables were shared tables with other customers, bit cafeteria style. The food was okay I would say, the flavors were bit missing. There was no WOW factor. Iâm not sure everything is locally produced in Bienne, some of them would do.The waitress who served us was really nice, she was friendly and kind. When we got the bill we were surprised to see 1L of tap water cost 9CHF. That was a bit of a rip off. This is a nice place if you like to have an after work apero with some small bites.Dear TjK-CHThank you very much for this comment. First of all we combine LOKAL products with different stiles/products from other cuisines, that means it is of course not everything produced in Biel. They call it fusion.Water situation: check https://wfw.ch, we spend 10% of water income. Furthermore is our water à discretion (even sparkling...), that means you can drink as much water as you want, for CHF 3.30 (rip off?). I can't follow your mathematics skills that the water was expensiver than alcohol.

It is a pretty new place and very nicely done. Staff was very is nice, the only problem was that they speak and understand only French, which made it difficult. The salad and soup were nice, served with really fresh bread and even a special tomato bread, but the main course then was really out of place. We almost couldn't eat it, plus it did not really contain any side dish. My husband got a plate of cold roastbeef simply served with small portions of an indefinable mousse, and my chicken wings had such a strange taste that had nothing to do with sweet and sour and were accompanied by some grated carrots and cabbage - no sauce. It could hardly be called a main course. It's a shame for such a nice place, but it's not worth the moey.Dear customer,We are glad that you enjoyed our establishment and our staff. We are sorry that our culinary offer was not up to your expectations, we take into consideration your remarks.Hope to see you again soon for a new experience.
