Reviews on Fusion food in Shan State, Myanmar. Shan State (Burmese: ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်, pronounced [ʃáɴ pjìnɛ̀]; Shan: မိူင်းတႆး [mə́ŋ.táj]) is a state of Myanmar. Shan State borders China to the north, Laos to the east, and Thailand to the south, and five administrative divisions of Burma in the west. Largest of the 14 administrative divisions by land area, Shan State covers 155,800 km², almost a quarter of the total area of Burma. The state gets its name from the Shan people, one of several ethnic groups that inhabit the area. Shan State is largely rural, with only three cities of significant size: Lashio, Kengtung, and the capital, Taunggyi. Taunggyi is 150.7 km north east of the nation's capital Naypyitaw.

The Garden Restaurant is best known for its delicious Myanmar Modern food, sandwiches and burgers. They also offer fresh Juices & coffee, .
My partner and I loved the Garden! We have dinner there and it was great. The food is really nice, had some tortilla pizza (which is different to Italian pizza but it is really nice with lots of cheese and crunchy base) and a Greek style wrap that was super good! We also shared some hummus which they serve with some real olive oil and an apple pie that was mouth watering! There are very good vibes, the waiters are really friendly and professional. I loved the fact that they want to reduce plastic so have bamboo straws, organic take away containers and refillable water bottles. They have great coffee too! Real good Italian style coffee! It is very convenient as itâs next to the bus station. Good prices. Highly recommended!

Kumudra Hill Bar & Restaurant is located on the roof top of Kumudra Hill Hotel, on top of a small hill at the entrance of Hsipaw, with a breathtaking view on the valley. The restaurant is managed by a French national and serves a mix of Oriental and Weste
Aside from the amazing views and fantastic food the hospitality at Kumudra is like nothing I have ever experienced. Thomas and all his wonderful staff went way above and beyond to make our stay in Hsipaw one of the most memorable in Myanmar. The pizzas are delicious and the homemade bread and pasta is amazing.

We were a large party which sometimes causing problems for the servers. The servers were very attentive and paid attention to our needs. The menu is mostly Asian cuisine although they do have a fixed price European menu. The serving sizes were plentiful. The wine selection was very good by Myanmar standards. We dined outdoors. Each table gas mosquito repellant on it and we all used

This place is temporarily closed. The Jungle close on 28th March for the raining season, we apologies to our guest.... THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!! ****Reopened again in October****
We had an enjoyable evening here. It was a change to have food with a European influence however I chose the Chefâs Special which was large prawns done in an Asian style which were absolutely delicious. All the sautéed vegetables which came with them made the dish just perfect. My husband had the Beef Tenderloin which although the taste was good it was a little chewy.I am afraid we were less than impressed with the wine by the glass and my white wine measure was so small it was only a few mouthfuls. We did however try some of the infused Rum which was really good and I could have probably continued drinking it all night! Try the caramel and the strawberry.Staff were friendly and service was good.

We were keen to visit this restaurant after the great reviews and the support that the owner provides to local women. The homemade drinks were lovely and I can highly recommend the excellent lemongrass chicken noodle soup. My husband enjoyed his pumpkin curry and my children liked the chicken and vege curry. Unfortunately the service was very slow, but donât let this put you off (just come a bit earlier, before you are starving...). The building is very cute and small. Our waitress (I think she may have been the owner) was really lovely and spoke good English. There was a small selection of items for sale (including some bamboo straws and wooden spoons)We really enjoyed our visit to Paw Paw and recommend it to others.
