El Cubanito Restaurant is located in Cubanito Hotel, with an eclectic and unique setting. Our cuisine is a mix between typical Haitian Cuisine and Haitian Fusion or as we like to call it New Haitian Cuisine!
this place is amazing! in the heart of PV, authentic, affordable haitian/caribbean food. The chef NEVER disappoints. I've tried 90% of the menu and everything I tried is delectable. Great place to hang out with friends, attentive staff, comfortable venue... definitely will come here whenever I get a chance!

It's a nice spacious home the decor is a bit on the cheap side. Service was very poor, the waiters couldn't offer any guidance on what some dishes were, and were lost with the ordres. The drinks took forever to be served, and amaretto on ice was brought three times as amaretto sour (yes both were ordered but they just couldn't get it right). We ordered two dishes that on the menu specifically said would be served on hot plate, but they were served on regular plates like the rest of the food. Two appetizers were forgotten. We were 7 people and only 2 dishes were described as "good". Two soups were ordered and neither was eaten.
2e fois que nous y retournons, pour le cadre, un peu baroque surplombant la place saint pierre , musique lounge... et surtout pour le concept resto fusion, et c est tres bon, notamment les crevettes aux gingembres, service très pro egalement
Where to Eat in Port-au-Prince: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Visited this place for our wedding anniversary in december 2014. Though I must say the food was not bad, it's way over priced for the service and quantities you get.The first bottle of wine we chose was not available. I ordered two appetizers, one as an appetizer and I specifically ordered one as the main meal, repeated myself three times to avoid confusion. Well they both came as appetizers. The rest of the dishes took about 1 hour before they arrived. And the restaurant was empty, only one other table of about 8 people (it was all the way on the other side of the restaurant). We chose a table at the entrance, in a cozy corner, the decor was nice but then I noticed the "hostesses" table and smack in our face was this ugly counter with cleaning spray and the ladies purse. Not a nice view. Nobody visited the table though we complained about service. The waiter was very polite but not trained and the kitchen!! slow as anything. Will not go back especially that 6 months later I've only heard bad reviews. Management needs to wake up.

Right in the middle of the city and not too far from the National Palace ( or where it used to be) the food is excellent but on the expensive side.. The parking is secure and they have a small shop that offers crafts by the bar
