We're a vibrant Australian style cafe with a love for great coffee and wholesome fresh food, shared with good company. Our highly skilled baristas serve quality Indonesian specialty coffee and our diverse food menu tastes inspiration from across the world
So glad I dropped in for lunch because the quality of food here was exquisite! Cannot fault a single thing. I tried the chicken burrito bowl with all the fillings. Corn, avocado, jalapenos, corn chips, all delicious. Easily the best lunch I had in Ubud, not to mention one of the best dishes I had in Bali. Would not hesitate to go back and dine again, especially with the super-friendly staff that work here. Highly recommended!Hi lamonties, thanks so much for the awesome review, we really appreciate it! Enjoy your time in Bali and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Never before I've done a review on my life. But my dinner here was exceptional, the foods are great, huge wine selections, and local cheeses from bali. Who would have known. Thanks to the most friendly servers who recommended me all of those items, too bad I forgot to take any picture. But because of the lovely exerience, I remind myself to write this review. Much much recommended, the crab soup was perfect and it serves two.

A very small restaurant in the centre of ubud. Not so much space so you'll be to wait if there is a big group. Up to a groups of 8 would be ok but there are only 4 tables. (1x3 people, 2x4 people, 1x8). It got very busy and people were waiting outside. Service was quick. Not expensive. Papaya salad was amazing. Go for the spicy version. 22kRibs (70k) and grilled tuna (50k) also great. You can change the salad - had gado gado one other.Ribs were succulent and tuna nicely cooked. Also mie goreng was yummy too. Banana lassi and ginger fizz wee great choices for drink.

We ate 2 days in a row in this glutenfree, partly vegan, vegetarian restaurant. It has such amazing food! The first day we had to wait quite long for our food, eventhough it was not very crowded. However, the staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. I ate a tempe-lasagna and I wouldn't have thought that I would ever love a lasagna without cheese, but it was amazing. Also, we took a piece of pie to go, which was great as midnight snack! The second day I had a taco (which was actually a burrito) with beans and quinoa. The music was good, but the same playlist every day, haha! Sharing some parts of the menu, please notice that there will be an additional 15%, for service and taxes. We are thrilled to hear that, out of the thousand or more restaurants in Ubud, ours is your favourite! It's great that you enjoyed your food. The lasagne is our most popular dish. Our food is prepared fresh with each meal and some things can take a little longer than others to prepare but hopefully are worth the waiting.Thank you for your comments about the music. Although we had some other playlists available if you had asked, your observation has prompted us to make some new playlists which we hope will be enjoyed and create a pleasant background to your dining experience. We are also busy redecorating downstairs to create an even more comfy atmosphere. We hope you have the chance to visit us again to see our changes... still a work in progress!!Just a note to clarify, there is no service charge at the moment at Fussy Bird so tips are most welcome and are shared amongst the staff but all items are subject to a 10% government tax. We are the first 100% non-contaminated gluten free restaurant that is coeliac friendly in Southeast Asia. We serve a wide range of cuisines: vegan, vegetarian, paleo, ketogenic, and choices of meat and fish. With health being our passion, after 3 years
We went to this restaurant as our son has coeliac disease and we thought it would be great to go somewhere where he could pick absolutely anything he wanted from the menu. As adults, the menu was lovely and we really enjoyed our meal here, however it isn't child friendly at all. My son just wants to be normal and have pizza or whatever like his friends. I feel this restaurant is more for people who are gluten free for lifestyle choices and want to be healthy, rather than for people, especially children, who have medical conditions and just want to eat the same food as everyone else. The restaurant itself is nice and a lovely relaxed setting.Just wish it had been more child friendly.Hello there!Thank you for choosing our restaurant and also for the feedback, appreciate it! We are glad that you enjoy our restaurant, and apologise if your child can not enjoy it as much as you do.It is indeed true that we do not have pizza at the moment, but we are working to make our menu be better and more enjoyable for everyone. We will take your suggestions into considerations, in fact, we are actually experimenting for the perfect gluten free pizza base, hopefully it will come out soon.In the mean time, if you ever be in our restaurant again, do let us know what other dish your son want, and we will try our best to accommodate it. Again thank you for the feedback and We hope to see you again soon!Have a lovely day!Cheers,Gluten Free Kitchen Team.

Farm to table, locally sourced and sustainable. Three great words to sum up Chef Robert Erickson's style of culinary design. An eighteen seat funky eclectic restaurant.
It's worth starting by saying that, although Bonito doesn't have the same cheap pricing as the Warungs around it, it's still a very reasonable option and cost us less than £20 for 2 mains, a shared starter and 2 drinks. The atmosphere is pretty chilled out and it has a modern/trendy sort of vibe. The staff are all also really pleasant and professional. Food was consistently good, though the lamb burger everyone raves about doesn't come with any sides bar salad so if you've had a long day or you're just a big eater you might want to get something extra! The seafood linguine was delicious and the ribs also received rave reviews. All in all definitely a good place to eat in Ubud if you fancy a change from traditional Warung cooking!
