Sitting in a valley in the Andes Mountains, La Paz is the city that touches the clouds. The de facto capital of Bolivia, and sitting between 3300 and 4100 meters above sea level, La Paz is the highest capital city in the world. Rich with 19th century churches, museums of artifacts from the pre-Conquest era, precarious overlooks, and colorful markets, La Paz is truly unique. The Witches’ Market, in the center of the city, sells charms and potions for Aymara rituals, as well as souvenirs.

This is the third time I eat here during Restaurant Week and their cuisine just keeps getting better! Their service was on point and they were very quick to come out with the drinks and bread before the entree. They've now started doing a lot of deconstructed Bolivian-inspired dishes which is very new and exciting here. Their meals were well balanced and featured a variety of local flavors. Definitely try the deconstructed "Sandwich de Chola" that has deliciously textured pork with artichokes and escabeche veggies. Their trout was also delicious, with a pine sauce. Their desserts are the best though and flawlessly flavor-balanced.Dear Guest We are more than happy that you have enjoyed the experience Stannum at The Restaurant Week. The diverse range of plates that we offer in the restaurant, were designed to combine the national food with the gourmet experience. We wanted to play with the traditional flavors and raise them to a new level, in which a pickle and artichokes create a new taste sensationThank you for your review and for choosing usWe will be waiting your next visitBest RegardsJesse Cuevas Customer Service

On the occasion of celebrating an anniversary, we went to this restaurant. The service was very attentive and warm. The food was very well prepared and presented. The food we ordered was very tasty, with great combination of flavors and aromas. The place is quiet, but not for a romantic evening. It's a bit pricey, but an interesting place to meet and vary.

In the heart of the city of La Paz - Bolivia, is the Restaurant 1700, a single proposal and somewhat eccentric for domestic and foreign. We offer a varied food menu that fuses Bolivian and international flavors, such as fillet of smoked flame with passion
This is a lovely Resteraunt. We had a 40 dollar meal that would have cost 100 in the US. I had the llama kabobs. They were fantastic. This is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of la paz. We bought a bottle of gin from them.
