Oval was so kind and friendly, drawing us in from the villas next door. We visited one night to listen to live music and Ovalâs hospitality brought us back for dinner later in the week. Great guy, great food and great spot!

We ordered a seafood platter and a grilled butterfish at this restaurant for dinner. The platter was really bad. The portion was small and the taste was forgettable. It was also expensive for Gili Air standard. The butterfish was much better. The flavor was on the spot and cooked properly at medium. The garlic bread at the salad bar was good. The service was above average. The tables on the beach looked very nice.

Sapodilla Cafe (and the larger Flowers & Fire Yoga Garden) is such a gem - on the island of Gili Air, in Indonesia, and beyond. I loved the smoothie & salad bowls served in the cafe, and there's always cool and kind people hanging around the cafe and visiting the events which helped me quickly meet like-mindeds. All in all, it's a beautiful space and creative community with a great offering to any modern yogi looking to deepen their practice, conscious foodies looking to nourish, design-minded travelers to spend the night(s), and creative wanderers looking to meet like-mindeds.Thank you so much for your review and for staying with us beauty!!! :)

Just wow. We werenât sure what to expect and itâs a little more expensive than other. But wow. I had a cocktail which was amazing. Mango sorbet, vodka and pineapple juice with lime. Then the tuna tataki was amazing. Quality great and very fresh salad with it. Ocean pasta also really tasty. A lovely setting for lunch too.

I'm so thankful for the several exquisite lunchs and diners I had in this lovely, comfortable warung . Although they also serve meat, the many vegan options are all delightful and worth a try.The price is clearly affordable for Indonesia, which means very cheap for travelers, especially considering the quality of the food and the smiles of the staff ! If you're looking for a peaceful place for your meal, apart from the (occasionally) busy street of Gili Air, with easy going vibes and served by very kind people, this is definitely where you should head to !Enjoy âï¸

My wife loved this place. Imagine a pizza, but instead, the ingredients squished between two halfâs of a pizza sized pitta. All sorts of different ingredients. Kind of a pub approach what with dart boards. Of course, as ever in Indonesia super friendly staff.
