Jolshiri names after a mystical river famed in poetry, is the exciting new sister restaurant to the highly acclaimed and award winning Sesame in New Maldon. Our menu is carefully designed by our chefs to appeal to the taste of those newer curry fans as we
This was one of our favourite places however after the last visit, we won't be going anymore. I don't know what's happened. It was never very cheap but the food was always good and we felt it was worthwhile. However, not this time. When our curries arrived, couldn't believe how small they were! Normally we'd have 2 naans, one rice between us and a curry each and it was enough. We were still hungry. And the curries were just ordinary., at best The naan bread was also small and somewhat burnt - more than it should be. Since when do they charge so much for a few dips for the poppadoms? We didn't ask for them and hardly touched them and were charged! The atmosphere was not good and we felt somewhat ripped off when we left. Such a shame. Unlikely to ever return.Thank you for your feedback on the good quality of our food. We are pleased to know that Jolshiri is one of your favourite restaurants. French traditional bistro using fresh food cooked on order We don't use microwaves! Family owned since 1997
Jean-Philippe, Kim and Jerome have run Le Petit Nantais with impeccable passion and dedication for more than 20 years, and yet they all still manage to make every visit feel like a special occasion. I went with my family today and had roast pork with honey and ginger, boudin noir and pommes puree which was amazing. Others had traditional cassoulet, and steak poivre.JP and Mrs are always delightful to chat to, and Jerome does a great job always. Even if he did forget to tell me about the Rose Veal. Thanks you Petit Nantais, and thank you JP for the wonderful piece of veal you gave me for my birthday. Le Petit Nantais, classic French cuisine, cooked by a gifted and experienced chef, in a well run place. Thank you very much we really appreciate you taking the time to post a lovely review. See you again soon we hope

Discerning diners of Surbiton will once again have a brasserie style restaurant & wine bar at the heart of their community, serving freshly prepared food in a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere, with a menu that will entice and cater for all palettes. T
Langleys has perfected the formula for a successful restaurant: nice decor, very good service, happy-looking staff, fair prices and a short-ish menu where every dish has been carefully thought out and well cooked. We had the antipasto, which was very high quality and substantial; the sea bream (ditto) and the seafood linguine (my husband said the sauce was overpowering and didn't like the sundried tomatoes, but I disagreed). All the food we saw going past looked delicious and we heard happy comments from other diners. It's nice to have this style of restaurant in the local area.

This is a newish venture which certainly deserves to succeed: charming service, impressive food (lamb, pork, padron peppers, croquetas, octopus all really good in tapas form), good wine list, very reasonably priced. We had a very enjoyable dinner and we would definitely return. A fine addition to the local dining scene.
