Sokyo. Where the buzz of Tokyo meets a Sydney beat. Allow yourself to be lost in the world of Chef Chase Kojima and his impeccable union of traditional craftsmanship with an innovative take on contemporary flavour. Now open 7 days a week for breakfast and
I have been here so many times, but tonight was the best. Adam our waiter went above and beyond for us. His charisma, his hospitality, humour and charm blew us away and I loved his recommendations! He checked in on us throughout our meal and always made sure there was a smile on our faces. An asset to this team!Good afternoon Marriam,Thank you for taking your time to leave your dining experience with Sokyo. We are glad to hear that our waiter Adam's service went above and beyond. The food was FABULOUS....!!! Unfortunately, despite the well-groomed and obvious experience in the wait staff, they were somewhat ambivalent toward us - each paying $240 for food alone one would expect a little warmth toward the guest....none...!!!As we sat, we were asked if we were celebrating something special to which we replied yes, we were - at no point did the ask what we were celebrating or if we enjoyed the course as it was cleared....just going through the motions of clearing and delivering the next course...!!! Scripted descriptions of the delivered food with zero interaction....!!Sadly, we had been looking forward to this dining experience for ages and we were extremely disappointed....!!!

At Dumpling Bar the service is professional and familiar, being a local favourite. We look forward to welcoming you to experience our original restaurant.
Food is much better than good..bad customer service though ...arrogant attitude from waitress/co-owner(maybe)? .plenty of rooms for improvement in reducing their ego .. also was charged $3.00 per head X 6 persons for cakage but was provided with a worn out meat cleaver for cutting the cake!?Hi Eric and thanks for your honest review - so glad you enjoyed the food! Of course, we were very unhappy to see the remarks on the customer service; I can assure you this was not Karen's intended demeanour to be portrayed. I apologise if this is how it came across. We've since purchased a shiny new cake knife too! I must admit, I'm embarassed about the meat clever - occasionally things go missing and I apologise your cake had to be the one to suffer. When you next book, please do so directly through me on [email protected] so that I can ensure you're looked after. What you experienced that day was atypical and we truly value your honest feedback so that we can continually improve. Kind Regards,Patrick Ryan

Taste of Arabia Middle Eastern Cuisine Tagines Shisha
While the waitresses were young gorgeous and lovely, the food was terrible. The Fatoosh salad was sad, soggy tasteless and nothing like it should have been, Where the was the sumac? The Kafta was like a bad tasting thick fatty sausage on a stick. The Prawn Saganaki, which we refused to pay for tasted like they were soaked in bleach. The prawn heads were black. The chef tried to tell us they were fresh...I don't think so. The hummus was dry and the sweet baklava had no syrup and was dry and old. It was an awful dinner, a good waste of $90. This place needs a health inspector.
