Find out what Fusion restaurants to try in Almeria. Founded by the caliph of Cordoba, this Andalucian city on Spain’s southeast coast is a reminder of the region’s Muslim history. The Alcazaba, a massive fort, dominates the city and affords amazing views. Also worth experiencing are the cathedral and the Almeria Museum. East of the city is the rugged, desolate Cabo de Gata-Nijar coast, a protected area. To the west is the resort area of Roquetas de Mar, featuring vast beaches.

Located in the heart of AlmerÃa , we have a large terrace in a very welcoming place . Traditional cuisine - MODERN - VEGANA
I looked up vegetarian places in Almeria and this one was one of two, and the best one at that. And yes, there's a handful of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu but those, as well as the meaty/fishy "tapas", are just average. Nothing was burnt or anything like that but at the same time one could easily think of better salmorejos, arepas (an out of the menu dish) and so on. Besides the food if one plans to visit it's advisable to look up the weather cause the tables on the plaza are bigger and less crowded than the three tables inside the premises, where it gets loud as hell.To finish, it might have been just a coincidence but the booking through their web malfunctioned and I was lucky to call the day before our visit to make sure. The call was quite an experience in its own as it took me about 5 minutes to convey all the info (name, time and phone no.) to the person on the other side of the line, and I am a native Spanish speaker.

UDON is the leading asian chain in Spain. Specialists in noodles, ramen, rice and izakayas. The best asian flavor on your plate.
We have eaten at Udon in the shopping centre at Murcia on a couple of occasions and the food and service was great. So we thought we would try the one at the New Shopping Centre in Almeria.....oh dear....poor service food wasnt really hot....I think we will keep going to the one in Murcia instead....I know its a chain of Restaurants but surely they must be assessed/monitored to meet the companies standard ??...

We have been a couple of times here, The service is usually very good. It can be rather noisy sometimes, especially on a Saturday evening, for instance, when you can hear pop music and there´s Real Madrid or Barcelona playing their matches on the telly. The food was nearly impeccable, being the offer more or less the typical melting pot cuisine (the common currency these days), e.g. with tempuras and the logical Spanish touch, while Angus and Wagyu vye for the patron´s purse.

Fuimos a cenar previa reserva. A favor: los emplatados cuidados, buen producto, se nota que el chef pone espero. En contra: servicio muy lento, estuvimos allà 3 horas. La salsa del atún era la misma que la del retocado pulpo. Los postres me parecieron flojos de sabot

After visiting dozens of restaurants in AlmerÃa we came to this conclusion: If you really want to have great tapas and croquetas, this is the place. Traditional but still innovative and different. One big plus for the great service - they know how to make a customer feel welcomed!

Everything good you read about this place is true. It certainly doesn't look like the most salubrious location but the decor is imaginative, the people super friendly and the food is off the charts. Try the tortillas or tuna tataki/sashimi for something to remember.
