L, endroit est magique, surprenant dans le pays de caux.Très cocooning, endroit ou l'on a envie de se poser après une dure journée. La décoration pour se faire plaisir mais aussi des idées cadeau pour faire plaisir aux vôtres. Choix de thés incroyable et original qui comble les papilles mais aussi des boissons chaudes et froides.De plus Ingrid toujours présente avec un sourire sur son visage, ne laisse pas percevoir ses soucis logistiques, perso etc....car elle doit e avoir comme tout le monde.

Si vous ne prenez pas la carte c'est plus long! Commentaire incitatif pour choisir la carte.... pas terrible. Le burger végétarien est juste merveilleusement bon et copieux. Les frites maison. La qualité est au rdv.... jusqu au dessert! Le tiramisu spéculoos était très très mauvais... l'industriel est meilleur c est pour dire! Dommage ....

While we were looking around the Wednesday market in Yvetot we decided we needed to get out of the cold and have lunch. We'd already looked up TA for restaurants and this one had some good reviews. We went there at 12pm and it was empty which isn't unusual, we figured people would start to arrive as the shops and market closed down, and they did. It's a nice little place, they had a covered front terrace but no heating so we went inside.They have a decent simple men offering the usual bistro list. I hate small places that have a huge 3 or 4 page menu as it can sometimes mean the quality of individual dishes are upto the mark. I had an Entrecote with chips/frites, a small carafe of rose wine followed by creme brulee and coffee.The food was great, the serve efficient, polite and friendly. For me the only thing I didn't like was the TV screen playing pop videos. We'd go back again, maybe when it's a bit warmer so we could sit outside, especially on market day as it's quite a big market.

Auberge du Val au Cesne comes up No. 1 under hotels in Yvetot, out of two. But why isn't is No. 1 under restaurants? I doubt the the burger joint which is at the top comes anywhere close to this imaginative cuisine, except perhaps in price. So, if you want to have a wonderful four-course dinner for 27 euros, Val au Cesne is only 5 km from Yvetot (follow the signs from the roundabout at the Leclerc supermarket). And since the Auberge has 5 "quaint" bedrooms, stay the night if you have wine with your meal. This is a great jumping-off spot for exploring inland Normandy, and the farm-like setting (donkeys, chickens, caged birds, dogs and a friendly cat) and charming hosts make it worth every Euro cent!Thank you, we wish our guests find the inn like you describ it!

We were staying overnight in Yvetot on our way back to channel port and found this really great restaurant. We had 24⬠menu and enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal which was beautifully presented and the service was excellent.
