Even binnen gewipt voor een opwarmertje. Correcte bediening.Bitterballen en een speciaal biertje. Allebei goed van smaak, hahaha. Voor een lunchpauze of zomaar een kopje koffie, sowieso een goede gelegenheid.

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijke bediening en bovenal heerlijk eten en zeker niet duur.Campingplaats helaas wel een beetje aan de prijs en zeker als je dan ook nog wifi zou moeten betalen. Restaurant is een aanrader!

The new owners operate this unique and beautiful location with a superb terras just a few minutes drive outside Winterswijk. Knowing the former owners and their professionalism we thought that the show would go on. Positive is that this location was not closed for too long, the bad news is that the qualityof the food and the service compared to what is was in the past was not good. It is obvious that the place is not runned by professionals. The menu is basic and simple, the dishes we have tried were just not good, guess too much convenience. Professional staff we did not meet. A pity.... just for the location and a medium quality far too hot served cup of coffee we know many better paces around.

As this hotel is part of a relais & chateau chain, the food here is exeptionally good, relying on local products and prepared by chef Hermien Beltman.among the dishes you may find excellent fish (some smoked) and game (duck, rabbit or deer). the desserts are spectacular not only in taste but also in appearance

Went here because of our annual friends day! Had 4 courses and they were all just amazing. Wines were great too as well, no complaints at all. Have not been here in 5 years, but definitely need to go soon again!

My husband and I arrived last night for dinner with high expectations for this Michelin one star restaurant and things started out very well indeed. They had reserved a table outside on the veranda for us, as we requested but weren't promised, and our drinks arrived with a creative assortment of snacks on the house. There is no English menu but our waiter expertly translated it all for us and we chose our starters and main course with anticipation. A bottle of chilled white wine arrived with our starters soon after ordering and the food was as delicious as it was artfully presented. The snag came when more people arrived and things got busy and our main course order seemed to have been lost in the shuffle. We waited and waited and finally after what seemed like 30 minutes, my husband got up and found the waiter (he hadn't seen us waving to him) and asked where our order was. He apologized and said the kitchen had gotten behind but we had witnessed other tables getting their main courses when they had ordered after us. Anyway, the main course finally arrived and was excellent. We next ordered one dessert to share, never thinking we'd have to wait again for ice cream but we did, way more than we should have. By the time we left, we were very disappointed in our evening and will not return there again. We don't know if it was our waiter (he should have seen us sitting at our table with no food for so long but didn't appear to notice or check on us) or the kitchen staff that lost or mixed up our order. Anyway, lovely ambiance and food, terrible service.

The location of this restaurant is very particular. It's in a countryside full of green. I've been here with my family and i took the 3 courses meal (34 â¬). I got deer as appetizer and lamb as main course. They were really delicious. This place is famous for white asparagus that are very good. In addition the Wine is very good, i got Sirah a french Wine.
